I don’t know . . . I love Pringles, but they tend to break when I use them in dip. I find a kettle chip holds up a little better (although I usually just get the jalapeño flavored ones and forego the dip).
Oh, the secret to Pringles + dip is layering! Grab 3–4 at a time and you’ve got a chip-turned-scoop worthy of any dip challenge. But I’ve gotta agree with the Ruffles crew (or any good wavy knockoff) – those ridges are basically built to hold half the bowl.
