I just read an article re: the FastPass system and pulled this little gem out of it....
"Some say this is the first step in making way for Disney World's yet-to-be-revealed ride reservation system called XPass, where resort guests can reserve their ride times weeks and months in advance. And it is expected to allow for bookings for character meet and greets and key viewing spots for parades and fireworks."

Sadly it's not an April fools joke, as it was written on March 8th.
Seriously??....now we'll have to be worried about making ADRs for RIDES??! Honestly if Disney goes down this path, I'm likely tossing in the towel. It's bad enough having to deal with making dining decisions six months out, but rides?.....c'mon people!! It's especially confusing for first-timers, I think, and leaves even less room for spontaneity.
