Hey y'all! Drive-by fruiting.....

Just got home from work, got out about 15 minutes early, since we were out of stuff to do. What a day....It started out so promising, the guy (husband/wife boss team) was in a terrific mood (not always the case!), the wife seemed happy, everything was going along nicely. By lunch time the two girls were ready to spit, and just before I left, the wife and their adult son who works there were in a full-on blowout. SO glad to be home.

Anyway, how's everyone else? It's almost Friday!!!!

It is my Friday, so I'm happy. Sorry work went from good to bad. It's been like that a lot for me lately. I'm looking forward to my vacation, but it's still 2 1/2 months away!

.....I went to seeThe Hunger Games last night - OMG, AWESOME!!! This is the first time I saw a movie BEFORE reading the book - I can't wait to read it now!

I read that some people said the camera was so shaky that it made them feel sick/gave them motion sickness. Was it that bad?

I've heard it's good, but for some reason, I'm not interested in seeing it.

That was me.

I want half my money back for the parts I couldn't watch.

I didn't want to go in the first place but my friend really wanted to go and her fiance wouldn't do it, so I caved. I TRIED listening to the book with my 5th graders but I couldn't get into it nor did I really like the premise.

I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed the film, except the parts where I felt like I was going to be .

I can understand the WHY behind it, but their DP (Director of Photography) needs to be whipped. HARD.

HAPPY FRIDAY!!! I'm home with a free day off!!! No work today but due to the unforeseen heating oil debacle of Monday and Tuesday, I am getting paid today even though there's no work! It's still only a 3-day paycheck, but that's still better than two.

Going to get my grocery shopping done this morning, then finish up laundry and clean the two bathrooms. Then I want to declutter my desk and the table, so I can scrap book and do some sewing projects this weekend.

Jury's still out on my attending dinner on Sunday. I think it will honestly depend on my mood when I wake up that morning.
