Morning everyone!

No work again today, but at least I was told last night. They did not get the problem fixed yet, so there is still no heat, and he said it absolutely stinks in there. Blech! I really can't afford to miss the whole week but I'm wondering how big of a thing this is going to turn out to be.

Not sure what I'm going to do with my day! I do want to call my BIL's girlfriend (the one who lives just up the road) and see if she's free for coffee. She's had issues with the IL's in the past (actually it comes and goes on a regular basis) and I'd love to pick her brain. I'm feeling guilt over not going but NOT because I'm wimping out....I'm feeling badly for my kids, who really don't get this whole thing (except for the 15 yr. old, who would probably stay home with me if given half a chance!!).

Anyway, I should get some exercise in of some sort. It got cold again after our nice warm week and I lost all motivation. When the weather is cold and gray you just want to scarf down comfort food, y'know?!! ::sigh:: I may take my bike out for a spin. It's been a while since I did that. I'm not feelin' the running love these days.

I got a 98% on my General Psych paper. Hopefully that'll ensure my passing this course. Now I'm waiting on pins and needles for my Medical Billing & Coding. I'm a praying that I got a 'C' in that course so I don't have to take it again.

You've done well with all of the others. I have faith you pulled it out!

Day 2 of moving and an evening full of meetings.

It's official... I HATE WALL ANCHORS. They're such a pain!

You'll all be buying into DVC now. :snooty: I agree that this whole idea is ridiculous. I always hated how Universal only offered fast passes for people staying on property and thought Disney customer service was so much better for allowing everyone to have the chance, then they go and do this. :sad2: I hope they get enough carp about it that they stop the plan.

You could be on to something. Maybe this is Disneys ultimate plan.

Did you get together with BIL's girlfriend? I sure do know what you mean by wanting comfort food when it's cold and gray.

Great job on the paper. Good luck with Medical Billing & Coding.

I read that some people said the camera was so shaky that it made them feel sick/gave them motion sickness. Was it that bad? :confused3

I've heard it's good, but for some reason, I'm not interested in seeing it.

I'm supposed to take DD12 to see "The Hunger Games" this weekend, but I want to drop her off with friends. I know it's supposed to be a great movie but I have no interest in it for some reason. And I'm a book lover, but don't want to read the books.

I am so looking forward to this weekend. Do you ever get so sick of your co-workers that you want to slap them for just about every thing they say? I work with a couple of whiners and I had to close my door and turn up the volume on my project today to avoid hearing them. Tomorrow I plan to try to hide away as much as possible just to finish the week.

Daily....:sad2: This is the same job I had back in '07/'08, and while I love what I do, the dynamics have changed drastically. I don't love the environment at all. I really like the owners. Yes they have their flaws, but so do we all. The problems lie with the two younger gals I work with. Nice enough, but at 24 and 30 yrs., their perspectives on life are just so different from mine. They do NOT like the bosses, and the tension is usually running so high you can cut it with the proverbial knife. There's no escape, either, since there's only 6 of us in the entire place and it's really small and open. Also, neither has kids, and I listen to a constant stream of why they are SO glad they don't have kids...Um, ok fine, but you're in the same room with someone who has three. Shut it.

....OMG, yes, parts of it made me so dizzy!!! However, the movie was alot better than I expected - I'll probably finish the books in a day or two!

OMG yes. Some of the problems we have now is the teachers find it reprehensible that the principal has the audacity to ask them to work. The horror! :rolleyes1

IMO, if you are being paid to do a job, especially teaching, you have a moral obligation to do said job.

Hey y'all! Drive-by fruiting.....

Just got home from work, got out about 15 minutes early, since we were out of stuff to do. What a day....It started out so promising, the guy (husband/wife boss team) was in a terrific mood (not always the case!), the wife seemed happy, everything was going along nicely. By lunch time the two girls were ready to spit, and just before I left, the wife and their adult son who works there were in a full-on blowout. :headache: SO glad to be home.

Anyway, how's everyone else? It's almost Friday!!!!

Yikes! Good thing you got out of there when you did.
