ours is small and we just want need floors, tile shower, new toilet and sink vanity. Just wondering if we have enough in the budget?
I do remodeling in Massachusetts. From your description a bath that size would run around 8k. You can save yourself money by purchasing your own vanity, tiles, toilet etc... If you really want to cut the costs you could gut the bathroom yourself ie: removing toilet, vanity, sheetrock, old flooring, etc...ours is small and we just want need floors, tile shower, new toilet and sink vanity. Quite important. We bought our house when my wife was 8 months pregnant. Only 1 bathroom. The day we bought it, I got a shower in the basement because she was directly above me taking a shower. Thus, had to gut and fix, plus had to get rid of the carpet that was in the bathroom (and kitchen.)Good luck! And I hope you have a second bath to use while that one is down!
