Hi Heather! It is nice to see you (and your awesome photos ) back here for the summer. I would go positively crazy with those magnets being an art director. Keep me far, far away. Exciting news about your cruise and AKL CL. Since we last "spoke" I've added BWI and ASspo to my list as my quest for all Resorts continues. It's fun. And congrats on your MS Ed. degree quest.

Tonight another classic Disney ride closes, Snow White's Scary Adventure. I know there will be a new SW ride in the new Fantasyland area, but it is always sad to see a classic go. When I was there in April I took a picture of Dopey waving goodbye...a little blurry, the ride started moving, but the sentiment is there!

Thanks for the Dopey pic. I got teary when I saw it. DH and I made sure to go on Snow White several times on our March trip as we knew it was our last chance. Sad, sad.

Hi Magic! You were soooo right. I tried changing my ticker using Explorer instead of Firefox and it worked! I need to update Firefox. Thanks! I just realized that we ARE there the same time and we are having the same dilemma. YC or Poly. I JUST switched from Poly to YC BUT I'm not sure.....My DS wants CR but there are no rooms, we LOVE the Epcot area BUT we did stay at YC last year. I would love the Poly but I am still nervous about the pool. I would be very, very angry if the pool was crowded with non-guests and I couldn't find a chair.... I made several MK area ADR's just in case.

Glad the ticker is working for you. The only reason we changed from YC this particular trip was the chance to stay at the original Poly one last time with no construction changes or Poly Villas noise. And yes, we are still quite concerned about the pool, too. Next year, back to Epcot Resorts in August!

I do make dining reservations every night because I like to eat.

It's the only way to yodel. How were the bears?

Our neighbor above us saw the bear, and I heard her outside our place two nights earlier. She was going for the bird feeders again. I could never keep feeders out if we lived there full-time. As much as I like to see our bears it isn't fair to inadvertently entice them. Nice time though, although a lot warmer and more humid than I would have liked (heck, I can get that right her at home ).

Congrats Marie! My PIF date is 20 days from today.

Yay for your upcoming PIF. AND, I may have asked last year, but so I may re-live my home life, what exit is your NJ weekend spot?

We're very busy watching the Women's College World Series Softball. Such exciting games! One of these days we'll make it to Oklahoma City, but for now ESPN will have to do.

We've been dithering about Boardwalk or Yacht Club for Oct. Today we decided to make the change to Yacht Club. I love Stormalong Bay, and I really love a guaranteed lagoon view. And club level is just an added plus. Don't know why I didn't think of it before, but I'm happy they had availability for our dates during Food and Wine. Good decision! Now I'm off to change that ticker.

This was just a trip to see our kids - both in So Cal. Camped out in DD's apartment. Of course it is about a block to the beach on the Marina del Rey channel so I can't complain!

My 4 day cruise is booked plus 6 nights at the Bc in a GV room. I was going to spend 2 nights at BW before cruise, but then I changed it to Wl and then I cancelled it all together. I figure I'll wait to a week before trip to decide where to stay.

My reasoning:
1. We fly standby. I have no idea which day we're actually leaving.
2. I don't know how much I want to spend
3. I really don't care where we stay value, mod, deluxe or offsite??
4. Most importantly I will change my mind 200 times before Oct, and then call from the Orlando airport and change again so whats the Point of booking a room 5 months in advance?

Chimo Congrats on being paid in full. I think you have two great club levels. I wasn't that impressed with YC, but I loved Poly and Hrh. I wont stay at either of the resorts without a club level room.

Magic mmm food. I am a total foody. Thats why I have to run 6 miles a day.

MM I came close to upgrading to Wl cl.... that was before I cancelled. You know how I am.

GG I was completely mesmorized by your changing ticker. I did some math in my head( which is not that reliable BTW) but I think we will miss each other by a day or two.

I should change my ticker, but I really like the way the ship is cruising through the lake in front of the BW. I think I'll leave it. You never know I might end up at the BW at some point on this trip.

Good Morning All!

Last year this time, we were on our way home from the CR...one of my favorites! Now I'm anxiously awaiting our next adventure...16 more days until AKL CL/DREAM Can't wait to get some early morning shots of the animals.

Quick cup of coffee this morning Getting ready to drop off DS10 to go to 4-H camp for the week....hopefully all his clothes will come back...and more importantly...hopefully they will be dirty! DHs last words to him..."Take a shower and put on clean clothes, son."

Will have to go back and play catch up when I return. 'See' y'all in a bit!

Hi all! Checking in as I'm OFF today and tomorrow!! Kind of a weird feeling!!! I made a cup of coffee in a real Disney mug today--no to go cup!! Today I'm going to try to get this house in order, and hopefully spend all day tomorrow updating TRs. As I clean, I'm going to try to start packing because I'm leaving soon!! Only me, DH, and a few work friends know I'm going so it's still very hush hush--but I'm so stinking excited. How in the world am I supposed to go to the Magic Kingdom and not post it on Facebook? Or when I go see Lilly the baby gorilla... she's too cute not to post. I'm thinking of making up some kind of diversion like.... oh, I'm meeting a friend down there, lol. Still hard to justify since I was there a few weeks ago, but oh well.

I have 12 properties to look at so far. That should leave me plenty of park time!!

I hope everyone is feeling well, doing well, and in good spirits!! I can't wait to see my ticker

The cruise is Oct 21. We will be at BC starting on the 25th. MNSSHP will be packed that week I'm afraid. I wish I would have renewed my Ap's. I think it is wrong of Disney not to warn their AP holders that are due to expire during the price rise time. I found out Friday night. I worked 12 hours Saturday so I really didn't have the time to think about it. I am sure a lot of Ap holders didn't have a clue and are shocked. I had to June 14 to renew. I called, but they would not let me renew at the old price.

Hmmmm .... I scheduled to leave for home on Oct 26th .... my arrival date is set in stone BUT I always could add a day or two to the end .... you know how I love to do that!

I bought a new DVC ap voucher last week .... after seeing how much they raised the DL ap prices. As it turns out the DVC price only went up $6.00 so I guess I didn't need to panic. So now I'm set for the RC and Grannie trips! I'm seriously thinking about getting another one to just put back for whenever I need it .... since the vouchers don't expire but I'll have to think awhile on that one.
