WOOHOO!!!! DOING THE PIF DANCE!!!!

I broke down and sent our payment off today ($5,038) to Walt Disney Travel Company Inc It wasn't due until August 14, but I figured, I'm pretty sure we have the best discount for our trip, I might as well just get it PIF....
now I only have to focus on saving another $1300 for spending money, just wish our dollar(CDN) would gain some strength again! It's performing poorly the last month or so hope it goes up a little so I can get as close to par as possible! Thankfully the majority of our money was bought close to par this time, so that's always a good thing! I am so happy to finally have our account at "0"

Wooohoooo Marie!!!! I'm like you, I can't wait until the last minute to pay...I just like to see the zero balance ASAP!!!

Congrats on your payment!! We just did that too last week! I know what you mean about the dollar....not good lately. We've got more to save up too for spending $$$, always better to have too much then too little!!

Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend! Not sure why I've had WL on my mind since we're staying at the AKL It's just hard to beat an early morning view from there....my DH LOVES it!

Simba.... Glad you decided to join in! On a side note, my parents have been on many WDW trips with us...they love it as much as the kids. In fact, they are going with us to AKL/Dream. I hope your parents have a magical vacation!!!


Padawans...You're quote about the cruise boards cracked me up... "I'm afraid to post over there. The last time I said something about the sub par food I had to turn off my PM's for a month. They are worse then those Poly lovers." While I really like the Poly...LOTS, the die hard fans can be relentless in defending their home resort. You're so right!

You really can't post too many WL photos. Do you have a SV booked at AKL? It's so nice getting up early and sitting on your balcony watching the giraffes and ankole...so unique and peaceful. And, don't forget the Zebra Domes

Mousemommy I have not been on this thread in a long time but came just to see where you are now staying. I see you bumped it to club level now...nice move!!! I am so guilty though. I leave Wednesday and still go up and down every day on the front end of my trip.

I analyze those resorts up and down and decided staying put!!! POR and BC CL. I keep wanting to tweek that POR to Poly but oh those room reviews keep killing me but at 35% off it seems like I should try it at least once!!!!!

In the end, it was $25/more per day to move to WL CL from Poly so for us it was a no brainer, simply because WL is also on our must try list too. We'll get our cozy new room and we are super excited!!! WL just makes more sense for us this trip. We will do the Poly someday, but it just didn't "feel" right for this trip. When you know, you know.

And wouldn't ya know, I booked Boma for Saturday night...the day before the cruise!...a buffet! I wasn't thinking!! How lovely! Will certainly let you know about KC...what were your thoughts? Honestly...Yay or nay? Not that I'm gonna change now I have nothing to compare it to except Poly CL. Bill wanted to try WL CL (thanks to your WL thread), but since I'm on a quest to do every resort...didn't happen.

Isn't that too true, Candace I feel so settled about our choice to do the POLY this trip....it seems right for us too, I just have to put the negative reviews to the side and focus on the majority who LOVE it there! I am lucky to be going back to the world with my boys, and to be experiencing so much on this trip....POLY CL, DDP, Hard Rock Hotel Club level, Unuiversal/ IOA, MNSSHP, AND a day at Discovery Cove!!! I am truly blessed!

I will definitely be posting a review, and have contemplated a live report...but it will be pictureless because I haven't figured out how to post them yet!

On another note, I was very happy to get my drivers license in the mail today...my current one expires on my birthday this year (right during our trip!!!) and so I made to go into the DMV early because NH has started this thing of giving you a temp license until you get your perm one in the mail...do other states do this??. I hate it. So I went to the DMV a month early to make sure I had it on time...I've got several flights to take, plus if I wanted to have a drink at Disney, I didn't want to have to explain the temp license, though I'm sure it would have been fine. It was stressing me out.

As DH said ~ "these are Candace problems....uh, I need my license for all of these vacations I'm taking".
