When we flew back from Barcelona we looked into shipping something back through UPS and it was just about the same as paying for the extra luggage with Delta so we decided to take it on the plane with us.

International rates are much higher than shipping within the US. Also remember try to have merchants in Hawaii ship your purchases home for you. We ALWAYS have our Disney stuff mailed home, even when we drive. I don't have to worry about damaging it, leaving it in car at hotels overnight etc and it always arrives in perfect condition. Then I have roon for any extra stuff I may find on the way home

Judy...would love to see pics of your scrapbook pages....we were on the Inaugural Alaskan cruise as well as the Repo before....I took over 5,000 photos and am having a hard time selecting the photos to print for my scrapbook.

Would love to see some of your Alien Goofy pics too...I took a little stuffed Mickey with us and on Tracy Arm day, I was up on deck taking a picture of Mickey with the Glacier behind him and I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to find the real Mickey in his Alaskan wear....he was pointing to my little Mickey and laughing...We also had (and have now relaced) a Dory from Finding Nemo and she cruised on the 2005 Panama Canal cruise and many trips to WDW and lots of cruises since 2005 but she had an unfortunate accident with some salt water not too long ago so was unable to cruise to visit Disneyland, Alcatraz and Alaska....I was so happy to be able to find a replacement on eBay when we got home...so she will joining us on this Hawaii cruise...however Mickey is upset...so he might be coming along as well!!!!!!

I would love to show you some if I can figure out how. I am severely technically challenged, but I'll see what we can work out when I get a little more done.

We have a little Sorcerer Micky we use to take pictures with on vacation. He has been replaced by by DS and is living out his life on a shelf next to our bed.

Since we live in South Florida this is the first time we've had to fly to the port. We booked our air through DCL. Seeing how some have booked their flights and have all their flight information; I was wondering if anyone might know when DCL will let us know specifics. Mahalo

6 months from this cruise will be my wedding ahh so exciting. I can't wait for this cruise. Despite the fact I'm in desperate need of a Disney cruise now. Its been 5 months since ive been on one.

I don't post much, but am excited cause I booked our flights! No backing out now. Prices looked grim, but I checked back at Delta this morning and was thrilled to find great prices from our little local airport in coastal NC to LAX and back. No red eye flights either! Bigger plus, I got exit rows with great leg room on both long flights, with no up charge! I am so glad this is done. Now, need one night post cruise hotel . . .

Seems there was some pixie dust hanging around your area! Good job on the flights!

Oh, have some of the staff from the Magic moved across to the Wonder? When we did the Panama Canal Cruise in January, the only person that I knew from the Magic who was on that cruise was Clayton (Assistant Cruise Director).Corinna

A couple of the entertainment team were on the Wonder for Alaska. One of the photographers (Goran) was on our first cruise in 2008 and he recognized us before we even saw him. That is the wonderful thing about DCL.

Sounds like a plan....let us know when you tell Candida....then we can plan something.

I was hoping to hold out until Christmas, but I might have to tell her on her birthday in August.

I would guess, since he is the main CD for the Wonder, Christian. The ACD I would guess Clayton but not sure.

Hey Jon and Elaine! ... Please include us in the Ontario gathering! I haven't been on the boards much, as my Mom is having some health issues, so life has been crazy right now. I have been following through my email updates though.

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but I just went and checked out the roll call, and the names are all mixed up. I'm still there, but my Screen name and party info don't match???? I've checked out some others that I know and they are all mixed up as well!

Apologies that I am still not checkin in nearly often enough - since most of my family is on Facebook that tends to be where I spend time keeping in touch,
Firstly welcome to all the new fellow travelers. Hoping to get to know everyone a little better via the DisBoards and then in person on the ship.
I'm will be co-ordinating the Stateroom tours and Pre-cruise meets and will get a spreadsheet up ASAP and post the link. If anyone would like to help me I'd appreciate the assistance.
This will be our first cruise not having to worry about luggage and pre an/or post cruise hotels - thank goodness.
This will also be our first cruise as a couple since our DD at this stage is not planning on cruising with us due to work related commitments.
Will try not to lurk too much and post more often.

It would be nice to see him again. He was on our PC cruise and we did get to spend some time with him. My screen saver is one of the pictures you sent me. I am on the stairs and Clayton is coming across the stage . I understand that Andrew Wilson- one of our teachers is on the Dream with the new stage show there.

If we each go in, find the row with our personal info and correct the DIS name we should be all set and save the Spread Sheet starters from a lot of hassle. If everyone who knows anyone else's DIS name can correct them too, we should have it fixed in short order.

HappyGoofy!! NOW I know who you are!! Your DIS name was so familiar but the story of the dance at the Dancing with the CMs is what cinched it.

Just checking in we got off the Dream on the 19th had a ball but Remy was disapointing service Great but food not so good - I also had to change my info on the spreadsheet We have airfare with Disney from SC but no itenerary yet
