Life is good. Teresa and I like to take it out once or twice a year. We had a camping reservation at a local campground that we have done for the last several years at this time that was cancelled this year due to a complete refurb of the campground. In our random evening conversations, she made the suggestion to go to Bar Harbor instead. Me........shocked.......we went from a campground 30 minutes away to a campground 15 hours away and she added "let's take the little camper". Then she added that on our way home we would detour slightly to Mill Run Pa. to tour Fallingwater, a Frank Loyd Wright designed home. For a spur of the moment planned trip, it was fantastic. That sounds like a great trip, Steve.

We plan on doing a New England trip when we retire in a few years. It's a little far from St Louis to pull off and see what we would want with vacation days. Also want to get up into Nova Scotia.

Even though they are in the middle of a 7 million dollar refurbishment, Fallingwater is impressive. It is a realistic look back in time. Edgar Kaufmann Jr insisted on the donating of the property to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy that it always be kept in a state that says, "the owners have stepped out for just a moment and will be right back". They have held true to his wishes.
