so I don't want to start any sort of political dialogue or bru-haha here on the thread....but I am excited to say that we aren't certain about details because we haven't set a firm date yet...but that there is a VERY good chance that following the vote last night in the NY state senate that this cruise to Hawaii will be my and Jason's official honeymoon!!!

(We're definitely getting married legally at the courthouse the first day the new law goes into effect so that we have the papers and benefits.....but then we're going to plan a ceremony/reception for friends and family later on with some time to plan....and one of our possible plans is to do it right before this cruise so that this can be our honeymoon )

5 weeks tomorrow until baby comes and I feel like a baby whale, but no complaining, I'm growing a baby boy, Life's good.

I went into the spreadsheet and fixed up my Dis Name, I hope that was the plan, seemed to be what people were doing?

When we were watching the news last night, the vote came up and my Mom and I both thought of you and thought how great would it be for Jason & Erik to celebrate their wedding & honeymoon on our Hawaii cruise. We thought it was the perfect honeymoon destination!!!!

Sorry I haven't been on here that much lately and I know I have alot of catching up to do. I've been contacting many different hotels for group rates and so far I have received prices for Ayres Hotel; Doubletree in San Pedro; Hyatt Long Beach; and Portofino Inn. I am still waiting for rates from Queen Mary; Paradise Pier; and Candy Cane Inn. I am trying to get the best price that they can give us and see if they can throw anything in like a breakfast etc etc. I should have all the rates next week.

If there are any other places that I might have forgotten, please let me know. If everyone could let me know where they might prefer to stay so I can call them on Monday with a more accurate count, that would be good. Either PM me, send me an email to Bweiss923@aol.com, or call me at 215-219-5400.

For those of you that you booking on your own, please make sure that you know what you are getting. Some places might charge an extra resort fee per day and don't forget the taxes when trying to budget your money.

Many of you have asked me about pricing at the Double Tree. There is a Double Tree in Anaheim, minutes from Disneyland and the other is Double Tree in San Pedro. I will call and get pricing on the one in Anaheim. I won't get any prices from Candy Cane Inn until Wednesday, and waiting on Paradise Pier and Queen Mary.

I got engaged last week while i was in disney world at epcot during illuminations.

That would be so great! Even if many of us end up at the other DL area hotels (and not VGC ) , we could still plan to meet up somewhere at least for a drink or two the night before!

I fancy the Queen Mary for the night before the cruise, but we will probably have 2 nights pre cruise. would the Queen Mary be a sensible place for 2 nights?

We will go to DL afterwards!!! Still trying to work out what to do around that 20/21 days as we want to be over for 6-8 weeks again to make the cost of the flights worth while. Might go to Orlando for a week or so first and fly over to LA. Ah, what a lot of decisions.

Yep, it's off. Has me being named Mandy, married to Mark and from Reading, UK. These are very nice folks and I would not mind being them, but I'm not.

We just managed to book, well, I better clarify. I just booked, Candida (DW) doesn't know yet. Think I might wait until Christmas to tell her. So, any of her FB friends please don't tell her. So many familiar names and faces. It will be good to see you all again.

Once I tell her then we'll join the FB group. I would now but she uses my account to play a bunch of games. She doesn't venture onto DIS much so this is a Candida free zone

For those that we don't know I am Jon and as mentioned my DW is Candida. We are from southern Ontario, Canada. This will be our 5th DCL cruise. Our 4th is the MV Fantasy so, April will be busy for us.
