Anyone get a GTY assignment for May yet??

We are not going in May, but on June 21. My DMIL and DM each have cabins. They were both category 11B. We paid on Monday and by yesterday, they both had room numbers on 7th deck and in category 11B. My cabin is a 11c and we are still waiting. I told our TA I might like an upgrade is some become available, but it depends on price.

Not sure why they assigned some in my group their cabin numbers and we r still waiting!!

Got our room for our May 1st Dream cruise. Booked 11C got 11C deck 2. No pixie dust but thats okay. I am packing light due to no clothes storage in the rooms plus we will have 4 people so things r going to be tight.

If they are assigning some May cabins then maybe I won't have to wait too much longer. I called DCL and they said they don't assign until 30 days or less before the cruise..Hope that isn't the case for me !

Also got our assignment for the May 1st cruise, today! No pixie dust -- but happy with the result - we have room 8682 -- from looking at the deck plans I think it is one of the cabins with the extra large verandahs
Can someone confirm this? Anyone have pics of the accessible staterooms?

We're on the Alaskan cruise for May 17th and we're also waiting for our room assignment. We're also hoping to get a little bit of pixy dust, too!

I haven't really educated myself very well on what is in the various rooms. But, when you said no clothes storage, it kind of worried me. Do Cat 11 cabins not have any clothes storage? We have been on a Cat 11 on the Wonder and a Cat 9-10 (Secret Porthole) cabin on the Magic. I know the 11's don't have a split bath, but never thought about them not having any storage!!!!

Still waiting on my May 22 assignment, but I know they're working on May cruises because my client got their assignment for their May 5 cruise today! Just a small upgrade from a 5D to a 5A on Deck 10

No room for me yet, but we did get moved from the waiting list into Main Dining

I am sailing on June 7 and got my room assignment right at the 90 day mark in early March. No upgrade, it's in my same catagory (6B) which is just fine.
We were put aft (where we've never been) and while at first we were worried, we've found out our verandah will be huge (#6190).

Also, I've posted before that we got no notification when we got our room assignment. I just noticed it when I happened to check one day.

this is maybe a dumb question but do all DCL GTY bookings say "with restrictions" ? On other cruiselines I have booked a GTY and the 'with restrictions' part was never there on the booking.. Just wondering.. pj

We're 70 days out, and no cabin assignment yet.

I think this cruise is sold-out, so it'll be interesting to see what we end up with.

Im hearing about people getting their room numbers for June...Im just wondering if its for the Dream or the other ships... Im booked for June 7th on the Dream and Im still waiting. Another person said they are bookded for June 21st and have their room assignments....I don't know how they work this out?

Im on the may 15th Dream. Still nothing.
