What’s for Dinner Tonight?

Probably just some ice cream, as we had lunch @ Toothless.
And just like that, we changed plans. One item on our checklist was the Leaky Cauldron, as I think it's the coolest dining venue anywhere on property. The vaulted ceiling is really authentic.

We shared a traditional sausage roll and a sticky toffee pudding. The toffee pudding was REAL good - do not miss.

I forgot to take pics.

Tonight we have ressies @ Bigfire.

I planned to make tacos for dinner but tripped last night while carrying the laundry basket and I’m a little banged up today. I offered to get takeout but DH said he would cook. DH doesn’t really cook so he heated up some premade chicken tenders (I premake and freeze them) with fries. It was not very exciting but I didn’t have to cook.

Tuesday night I picked up a meal from Wegmans To Go section (It's a great regional Grocery Store chain if you doesn't know it) while I was grocery shopping. I had Chicken French (lightly breaded and sauteed in a lemony buttery sauce). I think it's mostly a Rochester area thing, I certainly had never had it before I moved here but it's really good. Also had Au Gratin potatoes and Broccoli. I brought the hubby home a turkey Sub, He Loves sandwiches.

Tonight my MIL made Corned Beef and Cabbage, carrots and Potatoes. It was really good.

Huge fan of Wegmans here in the suburbs of Syracuse! In fact, my husband and I met when we worked at Wegmans during college! Their subs are amazing - one of our favorites!

Along that same line...tonight we are having a traditional Central NY meal - Hoffmann hot dogs, salt potatoes and baked beans for dinner - trying to enjoy the 80' temps before it turns cooler again next week!

Not sure. I have half a rotisserie chicken to use up. The LittleGuy is coming for dinner, so I'll do something with the chicken. Can't decide if I want to do stove top, instant mashed potatoes, and salad or just make one-pot mac and cheese. I'm not sleeping well lately, maybe 4-5 hours a night max (and not all at once); a comfty pot of mac and cheese sounds good to me.
