Im hearing about people getting their room numbers for June...Im just wondering if its for the Dream or the other ships... Im booked for June 7th on the Dream and Im still waiting. Another person said they are bookded for June 21st and have their room assignments....I don't know how they work this out?

Still waiting for my May 22 GTY assignment on the Dream, and I have a client still waiting for theirs on the May 5 Dream sailing.

I'm wondering how far in advance Dream folks have been getting their room assignments. It seems like it's been later than usual.

I got mine yesterday for May 26 on the Dream after making final payment and completing online check-in. I booked category 8C and that's what I was assigned.

Still GTY for May 12 on the Dream. We paid our balance a couple of weeks ago and did the on-line check in. It's under 60 days now. The anticipation is killing me, I check the website a couple of times a day!

Sorry for the crazy question, but what is gty??
If I picked my room on the cruise, do I need one???

GTY means guarantee. If you picked a cabin you don't need to worry. We haven't picked a cabin and we booked a GTY verandah category, so that we are guaranteed a verandah but we won't know where it is until they give us the assignment. You usually pay less for this type of booking but you have to be happy with any cabin in the category. If you want to be somewhere specific,like mid-ship, then you are better to pick your cabin. We are taking a chance that we might get an upgrade, but have to be happy with any cabin they assign us. We might have a Navigator's verandah or a regular verandah. Whatever it is, I hope we get assigned soon, this is nervewracking!!!pj

We have the May 1st cruise as well, and still haven't been given our assignment. We have 5A and have already paid in full (a few weeks ago) and done our on-line check in as well.

When a friend went on the DCL web site and pulled up their reservation it showed GTY for the room, but when they completed the online check-in and went to print the signature form the room #was on the form.
