Anyone get a GTY assignment for May yet??

I looked up the dream for May and a lot of cabins have recently opened up. I'm happy with what I have, Cat 4C. But a GTY opened up for a 4A and would be on deck 9 or 10.... should I take a chance on the GTY or keep my room on deck 7?

I noticed the May dates opening up today so took advantage to pay for an upgrade from 11c inside to 5c verandah for 5/19 - except - I'M STILL GTY (and obviously a glutton for punishment ).

We were GTY for our Dream cruise in June and received our assignment in early January! I am still hopeful for some pixie dust and an upgrade.

Okay, the upgraded GTY now has been assigned a 5C room number, which I'm more than cool with - 7th floor verandah is looking pretty good to me! The price I paid is still half the price of what the cabin was going for today.

You won't be receiving your cruise documents until much closer to the sail date, usually around 2-4 weeks before.

I don't know if I'll do GTY again because I am getting so anxious about finding out where we'll be. I think I like knowing the cabin number when I book. But if the price is right < I'll probably do it again.
