How could someone not know about Black Friday?
Anyway, you should start looking at usual shopping sites, such as
www.fatwallet.com, www.mycoupons.com, or
www.freesamplesite.com about a week or so prior to Thanksgiving.
Sometimes info will get leaked out.. but remember some internet info is local info only, (ie, the Kmart sale in Des Moines, is different than the one in Dallas). Some parts of the country have different merchandise because of the climate (for example, a sale on electric blankets/winter coats would do well on the East coast, but not in Arizona!)
The very best bet is to get a paper early on Thanksgiving day and make a game plan. Usually Kmart is open on Thanksgiving, so I will get some deals that day. Sometimes the Tday sale is Better than the black friday deal, but not as bad.
The day prior to Thanksgiving, the stores start (ie Target/
Walmart) putting out the merchandise. I go to these stores prior to closing that day (the Wednesday before T day) and see where they are putting the merchandise. I also check out the line set up as well. I also look to see if an online store is offering the same as a B & M store. If I can get the same thing online, I will do it that way, instead of waiting in line.
As for Black Friday, i start at 430 and am done and home by 10 am!
