Another way to make a little extra cash for our Disney funds

wooo hoooo just got paid for july for both me and dh....this is awesome.... :cool1:  :yay:

WOOOHOOOO!!!! I was just paid by Expo. I ran out of time last month to meet my 100 cap, but we were still able to do $405 worth of reviews ;)

I just transfered the money from my paypal account to my bank account. Just in time too -- we are going on a road trip to South Dakota on Saturday. That will be nice extra gas/food money ;)

Don't forget to do a travel destination review when you get home!!

How do you know which videos only received $2.00 and which received $10.00? I have had 14 videos from August approved, but I can't find anywhere that tells which were in the lower category. Now, I have a good idea with these particular videos, but I have some more coming up that fall in that gray area, and I want to know which ones to complain about if they don't pay me what I think they should.

Oh yes! We already have that planned. We are staying at 3 different hotels along the way so that will be 3 different reviews.
Plus all the other sites we stop in ;)
I am hoping to do about 10 different trip reviews.
Just hope they don't take the $10 a vid away before we get back. That would be a bummer.

I think this question may have been asked already ... but I'm having trouble finding it ... Is there a way to recategorize a product before you upload a video? I did a toy review, and it's coming up in the misc. category. Would I just replace "misc." with "toys and game"? Thanks!

In this case I don't think it will matter, since they both pay $2. :thumbsup2

  I'm so excited.  My DH now has 19 accepted. Some of them are mine before I got my profile up. We even had one that stated it was cut off before the end. However, it was actually the end so emailed them and they accepted it:cool1: . His user name is jdkmudphud if anyone wants to check them out. My user name is the same here, carmie3377. I'm working on getting my uploaded but I don't have any yet.

I think I figured out why some were being accpted and some not. It seems that all the ones I "clipped" or edited were accpted. All the ones I didn't state poor audio quality. I just wish I had more dedicated at the beginning of the month. I have about 30-50 craft items I could have done.

I'm sure most of you know this by now, but in case there are any newbies out there.

Last night when uploading a gerber graduate item, they had the same item listed 2 times so I just choose one. It put it in the category of "food", which is $2. So I backed up,choose the other one, and it put it in the "feeding, baby & kids", $10.00. Had I not paid attention, I would have only been paid $2 for it. So, now I wonder, did I accidently miss any:scared:

How can you tell which category it's going to put it in before you upload it? Is it on the list somewhere? I can't find it? Thanks to all........

Couple of questions....

1) Where can one find the breakdown of $'s they pay for certain categories?

2) I did three vids over the weekend and they are still pending, when does it go to approval or rejection?

3) When i have the .wmv file on my computer everything is n'syc (:)) how come for the preview thingy on the site they are out of sync with the sound? has this ever happened and they still approved it? perhaps like a glitch with the site or something?

After you choose the item from their list, you will be taken to a screen with Title and Description. In the description box, there is a some prefilled info. The category will be at the end.

I have some pending from a week ago, but have some accepted from last night.:confused3

I have some sound issues myself. Sound good on my end, then rejected. However, I've linked mine to my software.

Toys and Games are a $10 category.

Some of the categories that were previously $10 were now changed to $2, and unfortunately one of those categories was toys and games. This happened last Friday night- expo only gave a couple hours notice, so anything uploaded by last Friday at midnight will get the higher rate, but any after that will be in the $2 category.

The other changes were for arts & crafts, and for Kitchen and Housewares.

Hi, After 29 rejected reviews due to "Audio and video not synched" even though they are perfect on our computer, can you resend the same exact reviews to see if they "take" this time around or can you do the review over and resend or do they get on you about duplicate products? Thanks for any help. Oh, and some how I think everything will end up to be $2 in the end. They are just breaking us in gently. ;) tink
ps. DD still has not gotten paid for any reviews at all. They were from late July.

Thanks for the update ... I don't know how I missed this one.

if it gets rejected, there is no problem with redoing it to get it accepted...

supposedly, when they check your review, they also check the category, and make sure they put it in the correct one at that time...i would say just keep an eye out, and anything that doesnt give you 10 dollars that should, email them about it and they should give youa credit..
