Another way to make a little extra cash for our Disney funds

Exactly what I do!!! I can't load from the iMac, although I've tried every single time. When I attempt to upload, it lets me pick the file, but then it reverts back to the "browse" section. I don't get an error or anything other than it just doesn't work.

i use a macbook to upload my videos, and i export mine into quicktime first, then upload them...and i love how quick and easy it is! honestly, if it wasnt for the macbook, i dont know if i would have the patience to deal with this a lot of times!

i found another fantastic great thing about expotv!! i got an email today letting me know i was the weekly winner of an ipod shuffle!!! how exciting is that?!?!? i never win anything, but i just love that expotv!!!

I guess if it is out of sync on their site but perfectly fine on my site when viewed... What do I have to do to get it correctly on their site? I mean what could I possibly do to fix an error that i can't see until it is in Preview mode on their site?

good question...ive had that problem, and so have numerous other people...general consensus seems to be change the software type you are using....good luck!

I apologize if this has been asked here before, but for sake of time I didn't want to go back and read all of the posts. I am pulling my hair out already as it is.:headache:

Does anyone know if I am able to rotate a video either while it is on my camcorder or after I have downloaded to my computer via moviemaker?:confused3 I am not very saavy with camcorders but I know that when I download my pics off of my digital camera to my computer I have the option to rotate. I took (4) videos tonight and all (4) need to be rotated to the right. I don't see an option to rotate on moviemaker or my camcorder. Am I just crazy to think that rotating videos is even an option?

Help!:sad2:

I could be wrong here, but if you upload to Movie Maker, drag the video to the storyboard. Then you can go to Tools-Video Effects. Scroll down, and you will see the rotate effect- drag the effect onto the video on the storyboard for the clip you want, and that should work for you. I have used that for photos.

Hope that helps.

Is anyone else having trouble uploading tonight or am I the only moron still up trying to do this. I have not had one ounce of time in the past 2 weeks and tonight I finally get some and now whenever I put in teh product name it just goes to a blank page. ugh.

Am I understanding the Paypal website? Transactions up to $3,000 are charged 2.9% + $0.30 USD? It that .30 per transaction? Meaning that if you had a single $1000 transaction, your paypal fee would be $29.30? I am not familiar with Paypal AT ALL. :confused3

Could someone help me understand? I am trying to decide whether to stick with 50 reviews this mth or shoot for the 100.

Thanks for any insight!!!

Yes. That seems to be what the info on Paypal says. HOWEVER - I just got paid $405 for July (had a few rejected for the audio sync problem even though they were all recorded the same way). Anyway, that $405 did not have any Paypal fees charged to it. And $405 was the exact July amount reflected on the ExpoTV site. I have only done this for July so far, but I read here that others are also getting paid by ExpoTV w/o the Paypal fees. I don't know why Paypal isn't charging for it. It seems like they would be well within their rights to charge us. But, at least for now, they are not. If you can crank out 100, I say go for it! HTH.

Humm, sounds like something I might like to try...thanks for the info.

I was getting this error too, but only for a couple of minutes. Now it's working like normal .. SLOW! I don't know how some of you get them to upload so fast. We have a good, new computer and roadrunner cable internet and it still takes up to 15 minutes to upload. I'm SO tired right now, but I'm so afraid they'll pop another one of those changes on us, so I'm trying to get in as many as I possibly can. I have uploaded about 40-50 since last night for DH and I, but we still have so far to go.

I've uploaded my first two vidoes! I had to shoot and upload directly from my SD card so I couldn't edit anything. The first video took several tries as I was always going over the 3 min mark but the second one was so much faster. I finished my first movie maker video tonight but it wouldn't upload. I have it in .avi and expo says it's not a supported file type. I tried using 2 different conversion programs but neither worked. I'm going to have DH look at it later to see if he can figure it out. I know he has to look at the codec stuff to see if that's the problem. I can't believe I'm up in the middle of the night making videos.

How do you convert from an .mov to and .avi to be able to edit in Movie Maker? Everytime I try I get an error message

Find and download a conversion program. Someone suggested the Windows Media Encoder and posted a link about 5 or 6 pages back. We have another program that is pretty simple and it let me change the frames per second when my audio didn't sync with the video. It's installed in my computer as RAD video tools but it says bink video so I'm not sure where DH found it. Both programs are free, which one you will like or use more depends on your computer and personal preferances.
