I'm so mad right now. We had about 10 videos denied due to poor audio quality. Only 2 of the ones done at the same time were accepted. These were all done at the same time, uploaded one after another, and some have good sound and some don't ? They all sound good on my end. Of course, most are toys!

Everybody please, please, PLEASE; go to the vial of life site, print out a kit and follow the instructions. This is free and emergency personnel are being trained to look for this information when responding to a medical emergency. Print a form for everyone in your home and tell every one you know about it. We were given kits today at our state fair that had the forms in pill bottles. If you don't want to tape something to your fridge, get a vial and put the info in it. If you are unable to respond to rescue personnel your medical information will still be availabe to them, 24 hrs a day. You never know when you will have an emergency and your spouse may forget important information. These kits can be kept in your car, briefcase or in a child's backpack.

They finally cleared through the last few July vids and emailed me that I should be paid soon. I hope soon is like in days and not weeks.

Anyone still waiting? I really want that $415 to make a payment on the Disney trip we just booked!

As far as you all having problems with the audio/video sync-are you able to preview it after you've uploaded it to there site? And if you have, was the audio/video in sync when you previewed it? And have you been running other programs on your computer when you are uploading? Because I have noticed that when I am trying to save a video to my computer at the same time I am videoing another one, my video/audio seem to be out of sync.

Are you using a dual processor computer? I would be wary about doing both at the same time if not. Audio and Video uses up THE MOST memory in computers and if the audio and video is not in sync, it's probably because you are having buffer underrun issues. (AKA, your processor probably can't handle doing both at once. This also happens when people are simply trying to burn a CD and use the computer at the same time. (Causes skipping and slurring of music, etc.) So if your computer is older or doesn't have dual processors, I wouldn't do both at once. HTH...

Hi, I am using a headphone set with a microphone that flips down in the front. I am not sure what brand it is, but I don't think it was very expensive. I like it because I can hear myself talking while I narrate, but it doesn't echo like if you have the sound going through the speakers while you talk, kwim?

I asked the same question on the ExpoTV forum and the response I got was that only approved videos count toward the cap. So, I don't know for sure, I'm just stating what I was told.

Unless it's changed I read in the forum that if you submit over 100, they won't pay you for anything over 100. On the off chance that theyall get approved, it's probably better to take a wait and see approach. Why give them anything for free? You can save it for next month.

WOOOHOOOO!!!! I was just paid by Expo. I ran out of time last month to meet my 100 cap, but we were still able to do $405 worth of reviews

I just transfered the money from my paypal account to my bank account. Just in time too -- we are going on a road trip to South Dakota on Saturday. That will be nice extra gas/food money

Exactly! I actually e-mailed them about one of mine that was rejected for "poor video quality" and they gave me a bunch of bull about "graininess" and "improper codec." This can't be true because the videos I filmed and uploaded 5 minutes before and after the rejected one were fine. At least they rejected some pet stuff so I could redo them this month

Still waiting. A bunch of my August videos have been accepted, but I'm still waiting on about 10 from July 31st. They need to hurry up and reject them!

Has anyone notices that they took "pets" off the front page for featured categories? It's still on the $10 plan on the payment page but if ya'll have pet stuff you might want to review it first. It may be the next thing to go!

Just got paid for July! Not near as much as I would have liked, but I'm glad to see it is for real!
I had 25 approved, so I got $125.01
And had 37 rejected. Bummer That could have been $185 more!

I'm focusing on travel and pets and sports right now. I'll be happy if I can get at least 50 of them approved for August and get $500!! I really need the money since DH just gave me the green light to go ahead and book Disney for May 2008!!!
