I used to watch 90210 and Melrose Place all of the time. LOL @ E - we would sit and talk about the shows with everyone at work the next day!

My mom has been known to mangle a few things also - "Chick A Fil" comes to mind. She has also called it "Altmeyer's" instead of Alzheimer's.

The dog caught a chipmunk last night. Logan was so upset because he could hear it squealing when she caught it. It's hard for him to understand that it is an instinct for her to go after animals.

A lady from WDW called yesterday and left a message about our HDD disaster. She said she would refund half of our money. My MIL is happy with that because she paid for everything. I'm still going to talk with the lady today to see if maybe they can arrange for at least the 4 in my family to see the show again. Granted, they don't have to do anything, but I had my heart set on seeing the show and I couldn't enjoy it at all after all of the trouble we had getting there.

Yes, I will tell her that is the ONLY date that is acceptable for us. And furthermore, I shall demand that they put us up in the BCV for a few days, too!

This is shaping up quite nicely! After my time at the BCV, they need to also give us a room for a few nights at the Poly. Just a few nights, though, don't want to be greedy.....

Ok............Dylan's up....had his Motrin......he's icing his leg now......I'm gonna have to drive him to & from school for the next few days......I can't expect him to walk to school on crutches...lol......hopefully this will be all better the endof the 3 days of treatment.

Lars, ice and Motrin are the right course of action. Do them religiously, even when it starts to feel better. I hope Dylan feels better soon.

LK, you are so considerate of the rest of us.

BTW, this is for LK and SB since they are so lucky with radio contests. The morning show I listen to has an impossible question. The current one has been going on for quite some time. The question is "This takes 4 hours." It has something that was seen in the Olympics in it. It has something to do with a bodily function, and it is "hard work in Texas." I think the prize is about $220 and 220 scratch off lottery tickets.

I never watched Melrose Place or 90210. I think I am too old for them.

Good Morning Angels and Cherubs,

Here is your update from landlocked Montgomery, Alabama.

Folks are taking this storm very seriously. Interstate 65 has been closed to southbound traffic from Mobile to Montgomery..all lanes go north for the evacuees.

Forget attempting to find anything in stores; it's all gone.

Hotels in Montgomery are almost 100% booked, some are still available in Birmingham. The coliseum and large churches are open as emergency shelters.

The tropical force winds extending from the center may actually reach Montgomery tonight, and we are in the center of the state! Landfall is projected for early Thursday morning and we will be on the East side of the storm sometime tomorrow night.

My parents and brother's family will still be riding it out about 40 miles north of Mobile.

We are expecting heavy power losses throughout the state, but the main bad weather for my area will be tomorrow. There should be sustained 30mph winds for at least 30 hours as the storm comes and goes, but of course they will be much higher during it.
