I totally forgot that this was on (shows just how into this season I really am). But when did they talk about how the Weaver father died?

Now, I think it is an incredibly lame idea, and I hope they never do it again.
They took a shuttle for goodness sakes! And a bus!
Me and my husband were kidding during the show that next week they may go ALL THE WAY to Alabama or Florida, and we were right!
I am just about done with this season.

QuiltTeddy said:Geeze, glad someone else noticed how inappropriate it was for that comment. I did like them and was sorry to see them go, but calling them "The Rugrats" was totally uncalled for.

Why is the dad always commenting on how he is pulling the girls down because he can't keep up? Does he have health issues? He seems young enough to be able to keep up. Heck, older couples have competed in this race and never whined like he does, and they had to do MUCH more grueling, physical stuff.
I just shake my head when he starts whining, because he seems so YOUNG. Why does he talk like he must be 80 years old?
OhMari said:If you go back to the beginning of this thread, there are a few links to the cause. But I think he died at the Nascar Racetrack in Daytona picking up Debri on the track and somehow he was hit by a race car that didn't know someone was on the track. I don't know if this was during an actual race or not, or if someone was testing their car.
SRUAlmn said:You know, I was just thinking about the initial episodes where they showed the little interviews with the families. Do you remember the Ghagan mother stating that she felt her family would have an advantage with overseas travel because they had a lot of experience with it? Do you think the show would have told them if they were going overseas or not, or do you think she just assumed they would be since all other seasons have? I didn't know if they would have told them during casting that they would/would not be staying in North America.
I agree...Gwene65 said:What is wrong with the word rugrats? I don't see anything wrong with it. My family has called our group of cousins rugrats for years and I have never taken it to be a negative word.
I for one am sorry to see the Aiello's go, I liked them. Now I have no one to root for as my 2 favorite teams are gone.
