I love Danny and Oswald (although, even after 2 seasons, I'm not sure which is which) and I was glad not to see them go, but I thought it served them right. Not for selling their yield (it was the smart move and they genuinely felt bad about it - not like other teams who have laughed off doing mean-spirited things because "it's part of the race" - i.e. cancelling the cabs, etc.), but for not getting a new taxi driver. Duh! That guy didn't know where he was going from part one. I don't like the Beauty Queens (smart racers, but so holier than thou - yuck), but when they had a bad taxi driver they knew to get out and find another one. That's definitely in the top 10 of AR Rules for Winning. First the guy brings them to the end of the challenge, then has trouble simply driving alongside them and showing them back to the lake they WERE JUST AT, then brings them to the wrong side of the island? I think the boys were so wrapped up in feeling bad about the yield sale they let it totally mess up their game.
I'm rooting for Charla and Mirna. Yes, M is a bit a of witch, but I think she is just one of those people who has trouble editing what she is thinking before it comes out of her mouth. I thought it was funny when one of the BQs complimented her on her hair and she was like, "Uh, thanks?" You could tell she was thinking - "You've been a total creep to me this entire race, now you like my hair? What's going on?" And she does yell at Charla a lot, but a lot of the teams do that to let off steam (D - or was it O? - really yelled at his teammate during the dragon challenge because he didn't remember where they were going and was upset that he thought he had remembered but didn't really). She's also a big cheerleader whenever Charla does a task and always congratulates her on doing things other people wouldn't expect a little person to do. I think she comes off worse than she is because Charla just rolls with it instead of arguing back, which I think helps make them a better team.
Plus, I want 2 women to finally win, but not the BQs.
And why doesn't Charla ever drive? Surely she knows how? They don't seem to ever have the cars fitted out so that she could drive (the pedal extenders).
