Amazing Race 11 - All Stars (begins 2/18/07)

They can only use the yield ONE time in the whole race.

Eric and Danielle were from AM 9 I think, she was with a Friend and Eric also with a friend.

Charla does most of the hard challanges, I like her more than Mirna.

I read on another board that Charla had to do 3 of the last 4 roadblocks because one person can only do 6 roadblocks throughout the race. I think since reading that she has done 2 so she has 1 more to do.

Eric was with his friend Jeremey aka "The Frat Boys". And Danielle was with her friend Danni. Dannielle and her teammate were pretty friendly with the frats. I believe that Eric and Danielle are dating.

I would never have been able to do that roadblock. Eek!

Only 2 more episodes left. I kind of knew that was going to be a NEL when Phil didn't tell the BQs, Charla/Mirna, Eric/Danielle that they were the teams in the final running for the one million dollars.

BQs told E/D that they gave D/O some money but that D/O were the ones who chose to Yield E/D.

I can't stand any of the teams that are left, but let's please recap how the BQ's are pillars of virtue again and aren't trying to sabotage other teams, etc. They didn't have the cajones to admit what they'd done so they lied about it. Yeah, they're way above the tactics of the other low-life teams

Correct. For those who haven't watched from the beginning (AR1), there used to be no limit to how many roadblocks a person could do, so teams would have their most athletic member doing most of them. They changed it a few seasons ago so that each team member has to do half the roadblocks.

I have got to say that I am VERY dissappointed in Danny & Oswald... I thought they were above what they did yesterday ie. selling their yield power for cash... I would find another way to get money, like on the streets begging before I struck up that kind of deal.... Charla offered them money not knowing about the deal they had just struck up, that was very kind of her.... If Danny & Oswald had just waited and had faith (or begged during the several hours they waited) I had wanted them to win (from the teams remaining), but after last night, I don't know.... it's bad karma.....

The Barbies are so manipulative, do they have no scruples? I just wonder about them.... Yielding Eric & Danielle AGAIN?

Now I hope Charla & Mirna win, say what you want about them, but I think underneath all that facade, they are kind people....

And I was just annoyed that it was ANOTHER non-elimination week, why did they wait til the absolute end of the game to have the non-elim's?

I feel bad for O&D having to resort to selling the yield, but I understand. They were desperate for cash and had no way of knowing that C&M would catch up to them (remember they were about 3 hours behind before bunching at the tower) and offer to help. If they didn't get more money they never would have been able to take all the taxis they needed to complete the tasks they were given. I think they were so desperate that looking for other ways to make some cash while waiting never even crossed their minds.

Unlike many who would have done the same thing, D&O showed major remorse over what they did and it was really bothering them to have to do it.

They're not that far behind Danielle and The Child, so hopefully they can make up the 30 minutes in the next leg.

I won't say that they are virtuous but remember that Danny and Oswald approached them with the deal. And again, logically, yielding Eric and Danielle was the better choice of the two teams behind them.

Also Danny and Oswald didn't exactly tell the truth to Chmirna either.

Can somebody tell me what Mirna's definition is of being nice to Charla?

Well, you could say that about any of the teams left. And I don't really think lying to D/E and was that big a deal. The lie didn't affect the game in anyway. It's not like they lied about the location of a clue to purposely set them on the wrong path.

My friend is cousins with Danielle partner Danni from AR9. My friend told me before the teams for the all stars were announced that Danielle and Eric were being partnered together. Although they did hook up on AR9 they are not dating now or when they started to run the All stars. But the producers want to portray them as dating but they are not they are just friends in real life.

Thanks for sharing but that's just dumb (the producers, not you). I never liked that they were picked as a team and for the all stars. They aren't all star material. Did anyone really even like them on their first season? But I am glad to hear that they are just friends considering the way he talks to her.

I don't think they are allowed to beg for money anymore. There was a clip where someone was giving Rob and Amber a book or a map and they said they could take that but could not take money. D&O were desperate for money and would not have been able to finish this leg without this deal. And it makes perfect since to target Eric and Danielle. They already have a 30 minute penalty - give them another 30 minutes and that gives you a huge advantage. I don't think Dustin and Kandace did it because they don't like E & D, they were using the yield with a strategy! What a concept! It is a race after all. And I don't blame them for telling them a half truth about the yield. I would have done the same thing. Why make E & D even madder at you than they are. Sure they will find out about it later when the show airs, but by that time, you don't have to ever see them again.

As much as I do not care for Mirna and Charla... it used to be Charla who irritated me (in a previous season), now it is Mirna. She is sooo negative. If I were Charla I'd sooo give her a piece of my mind. And Is it my imagination or is Charla doing most of the challanges? Unless she absolutely can not do them for physical reasons, it seems like she is the one doing the majority of them?

I can't stand Mirna, I have no problems with Charla. What really bugged me was when they cut the noodles too thick of course Mirna blamed it all on Charla. She can never take any of the blame. One of the reasons I like the BQ's because when they cut the noodles wrong they didn't blame each other, they just went back and repeated the challenge. It seems that Charla does more challenges, I'm not sure if that is the case though.


I'm glad this was the last week of no eliminations, I wish they hadn't done this two weeks in a row.

Danni is getting married next year and alot of people from AR9 are supposily going to the wedding. Somebody else from that season ending up getting engaged. I don't really recall disliking the DDs, but they definitely weren't my favorite. But Eric and his partner were just wretched. Canceling someone else's cab is definitely what I would call low-down.

Ray and Yolanda got engaged, I think at the wrap up show, but I'm not sure if it was the same season.

I was laughing so hard at that. I really just love Danny and Oswald. They are so funny together - Just walking comedy I think. And they editted it so that you just knew something bad was going to happen when they took that money. (it actually surprised me that they did-) Oh I just love this show so much. I have been watching since the very first season. And love love love them all(*well maybe not loving the family one but every other one)

I cannot stand Mirna anymore just because of the sheer stupidity that comes out of her mouth sometimes.

When she was talking to the camera and said "Why would you yield someone when they are a team that is very close and could come and pass you, it makes no sense!" I about fell off my chair. That is EXACTLY why you yield someone. I don't understand the people that are going on about using the yield being dirty... it's there as a tool of the game to help a team win. It's not dirty, it's playing the game! Eric and Danielle is a stronger team than Charla and Mirna is, so I don't blame them one bit for yielding E and D again! Truth be told I probably would have done the same.

I could not stand the beauty queens last season, but I'm finding that I really really like them this season. If them, or D and O won I'd be a happy camper.
