I am in the minority here because I like Rob and Amber! Oh Well! I knew they were going home though! I personally, thought it was pretty smart of Amber to say - I got it about the clue!

I am trying to decide who to route for now. I think I am going for Team Cha/Cha now! Maybe Dustin and Candace - but I hated them last season so I haven't decided yet! I personally do not care for Charla and Mirna - they drive me nuts, so I hope they go home next!

How come Terri sometimes calls her husband "I-an" and other times pronouces it "E-an" (Likes Sir Ian McClellan)

I mean I understand if he pronouces it differently from the norm, but shouldn't his wife know one way or the other?

I haven't noticed that, but maybe she calls him I-an when she wants to irritate him, but I have to admit he's been really nice this time around. I hope he continues to be like that and not revert to his obnoxious self like his first go around on this show.

I was really sad to see Rob and Amber go. I wasn't rooting for them to win, but I thought they were fun to watch, and definitely very good competitors. I haven't watched them on anything other than AR so I guess I don't have the whole picture, but in this context anyway, it seems to me like they know their cocky, and even make fun of themselves for it. In all of the interviews when Rob was saying "no other team can even touch us" and whatnot, he was saying it kind of sheepishly, and Amber was rolling her eyes and laughing. It was pretty lame that Rob gave up when they weren't at the top anymore, but I'd much rather watch them than most of the other couples that have been on AR... it seems like they have much better communication and respect for each other. JMHO.

I've been rooting for Oswald and Danny since the beginning though. I love them!

I can not stand Charla and Mirna. Ugh. Besides the fact that I've never liked them, my roommate and I noticed that when Mirna talks to any locals in the countries they're in, she talks with a fake accent, like she's not American, either... now that we've noticed it, it's driving us crazy.

I'm surprised by the fact that I actually like Teri and Ian... on their season, I pretty much hated them, mostly because Ian was always such a huge jerk. Maybe after watching it he realized how harsh he was being?

I noticed that the first time they were on, too. It seemed to me that she used "I-an" when she was irritated with him and "E-an" the rest of the time. But I didn't care enough to check out my theory.

They are are a more pleasant team this time around, Ian especially. He was really rude to her last time. Although she didn't just take abuse, she dished it out too. When goofy Mirna got into it with Teri last week, you could see that Teri's a pretty tough cookie in her own right.

Without a doubt, they are the nest racers among the "old timer" teams ever.

I hope they go soon too but oddly enough the other teams at the Elimination Station dont want them to come any time soon

Well, technically she is not American. They were both born in Syria and emigrated to the United States when they were young. They also speak several languages. I noticed they had an accent when they first raced(season 5). I just think it gets more noticeable or pronounced when they are excited or yelling.

Her accent was noticeable when she was hollering at Charla last night, too. So it's not just when she's talking to the locals, more like whenever she's excited. And this lady is always excited. What is weird, though, is when she speaks broken English to people. I guess she thinks "you take me to airport?" is easier to understand than "can you take me to the airport?"

In her defense (I can't believe I'm defending this lunatic), she actually is a good racer. She could have been a lot less whiny when she said it, but it's true that she has to do all the driving and all of the physical tasks. She seems to be the one that plans out the routes, gets the tickets, negotiates with the locals, etc. She's pretty clever, and doesn't make a lot of mistakes.

But what a nutcase! Can you imagine having her as your lawyer?

Just a theory here - but when Rob and Amber did there little good-bye message last night they mentioned something about "family". Could they be ready to start a family?

How long ago was the race taped? Could she be pregnant?

She is probably pretty successful as a lawyer. Anyone that would go up against her would settle just to get away from her.

I can't bring myself to watch last nights episode. I don't want to see R&A come in last, and AFTER Charla and Mirna.

Am I a freak or what? I have been depressed all week knowing they would be eliminated, and now, I have tried to watch it, but I can't enjoy it. What is my problem? I went from hating them on Survivor to loving them on the race. I wanted them to win. Whaaaaaaa!

I am so happy they are gone. I think Mirna sticks Charla with as much stuff as she can. Last time they were on Charla did all the natsty stuff. The mext new season was when they implemented the rule that each one had to do equal tasks. Charla works hard and all Mirna does is yell at her, and kiss Phill when she can.

Amber replied we're professional reality TV people, she said they've been living a fairy tale. When asked what was next for them they said "something big" but they can't really talk about it yet.

This is why I don't like seeing Romber on anymore reality shows. They are no longer "real" people, but paid professionals (unconfirmed, but I read that they were paid an appearance fee for ARAS). I can see doing a show once, then maybe an All Stars episode, but after that it's no longer about the show, it's about the "stars" that are taking part in it. I watch reality TV for the reality part. I wouldn't want to see an episode of Amazing Race that featured pro athletes or known actors either. Romber have become too well known and anything they appear on, IMO, is no longer reality TV.

I also have to wonder what life will be like when they are no longer in the spotlight and constantly on the go. Will their marriage fall apart like so many celebrities?

I hated to see Rob and Amber go. They were fun to watch! As annoying as they are, Charla and Mirna are fun to watch too.

My top 3 teams are: Tied for first: The Beauty Queens and Cha Cha's!
Third: Terri and Ian. I love Joyce and Uchenna too, but they've won already so I put Terri and Ian above them. I can't believe how different T&I are this season.

I'm ready for the Guido's and Danielle and Eric to go. Yuck!
