So exciting to be making ADRs!! To me, that really begins the countdown!!

I also wouldn't worry about taking Hollie out of school! I am contemplating begging our high school to allow me to take Madison and Chris out for a cruise they want for their Christmas present. They (the school) do not normally smile on these things but I am hoping they will count "life experience" in another country as a positive!!

I can't wait to start hearing more details!!!! It will hopefully take some of the sting out of me not getting to go for over a year from now!!

I'm glad you stuck with your dates!

We took DD6 out last year from kindergarten for a Disney trip and for a Spain trip. I just let the teacher know well in advance and it wasn't a problem. Then I got called in by the assistant principal because she had too many unexcused absences (they won't excuse absences for travel) and it was procedure to have a meeting with the parent. Well, I just told her that we like to travel as a family and I, as the parent, found that just as important as being in the classroom, as I really believe in the importance of life experience learning. I just had to sign a paper and it was fine. I wouldn't ever do it if I thought it was affecting her schoolwork, but I knew it wasn't. Now, can you keep a secret? I was talking with some of my cousins this morning and we are considering pulling the kids out for a day or two for a Disney trip in early 2011, and your trip dates are some of the ones we are looking at.

Can't wait to hear if you got your ADR's!

Well, we have our reservations made!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!


We decided to stick with our original date! So......its Monday, February 7th through Saturday, February 12th! Now, there was a change. I was sad about it, but will get over it! We are staying at Caribbean Beach Resort. I am sad we aren't gonna be at the Poly, but thats okay. When Chad, Hollie, Hannah and I go by ourselves, that is where we will stay! It will either be February of 2012 or October of 2012.

I have my ADR's I have to make tomorrow!

We are gonna do the Spirit of Polynesia Luau. We love it and can't wait for Hollie to see it!

Then of course, Crystal Palace on our MK day!

Girl!!!!!! I haven't been on the disboards for awhile and here I came to check on you and little sweet Hannah is here! She is beyond adorable and I truly mean that because I've seen some ugly babies! Ok, maybe homely is a better word!

Awww, thanks so much girl!!! I was telling Chad the other day, there is a way Hannah sits and she looks like ET!! hahaha Her arms look so long!!

After looking at both Hollie's newborn pic and Hannah together, I've come to the conclusion that Hannah looks more like you! Ah, newborn babies are the absolute sweetest thing in the world. I love how scrunchy their little faces are and how darn good they smell after a bath! I'm sure you're enjoying it all and I love how excited Hollie looked at the hospital to see her new little sister. So cute!

That is exactly what my mom said. She thinks Hannah is looking more and more like me everyday.

I'm so behind on your pre-trip that I have to go back and catch up! But first I wanted to congratulate you and Chad on beautiful Hannah! So I guess you decided against naming her Universal Studios!

Awww its okay! I haven't done much to it with the pregnancy and all, but now I can!! lol

ETA: I just saw that you were contemplating President's Day week. We've done it before and my only advice is to avoid it if it coincides with Mardi Gras. Apparently people from LA get a school holiday during Mardi Gras so they escape to Disney! And no I'm not making that up either, I spoke to a very nice family on the bus at Disney who told me all this.

We are actually sticking with our original dates!! yay!!

Okay....so our trip has been changed. Its not too much of a biggie. Just the hotel has changed...again. Ugh!! Okay, well Chad and I were talking the other day about our trip down to Disney. Now, the MIL changed from the Poly to CBR because it was cheaper. Well, I told her we would even stay at Pop if she wanted to save money that it was no problem. She said she didn't like how small the rooms were. Well, fast forward to yesterday. When we went last year we had adjoining rooms. So, she calls me after I told her about all the new discounts they had coming out. She thought that maybe we could just get 2 rooms that are adjoining and then we could just leave the doors open. Well, Chad was okay with it if we stayed at Pop again. He liked the fact that the buses only pick up at Pop and take you straight to the theme parks. He also loved the food court and everything else at Pop. (He isn't too hard to please!! lol! I would still prefer the Poly!) So, I texted Dawn and told her and voila....we are now staying at Pop in 2 rooms.

Our ADR's we have for right now are:

Chef Mickey's for breakfast

Spirit of Aloha luau (yum!!)

Crystal Palace for breakfast

Coral Reef for lunch


Hollie has said she wants to eat with the princesses so we might possibly try Akershus or even 1900 PF

Hey-your plans sound great! It's always nice to save money-yeah poly is nice but think of it as more money to shop with! I also liked Pop a lot. Overall, its my favorite value resort! and YAY for awesome deals with disney because we just had to change our resse for next year to get the FREE dining! yippy! First time ever!

Two rooms at Pop sound fabulous. I have to agree with Chad on the awesome food court. That is one of the reasons I love Pop so much. The buses only coming to the one stop and not sharing with anyone else is definitely nice too!
