I know everybody hates Edmond's character now, but I hate to see them writing him like this. Actually though, he did start out on the show as a psychopath - all the anger and hatred toward Dimitri, then kidnapping Erica. Then he became nice. I just think the writer's feel since him and wife have split in real life, then this is an appropriate way to handle it. Plus, the negotiations for his contract didn't go well. I really wish him and Brooke would have gotten back together. As happy as I was at first about Maria coming back, it just hasn't been what I thought it would be. She has changed so much. I want to see Brooke back in a relationship.

I can't help but think, and also thinking ahead to future generations, that they are grooming Alex and JR to be the next generations Palmer and Adam-two patriarchs of wealthy families who are also feuding. They really haven't left Palmer an heir to carry on that tradition. It just seems that with Palmer mostly gone, they need someone to develop some legendary rivalries now. That's what I keep thinking when I see Alex...That through the years he will be good/bad-like Palmer has been over the years and have this friendship/enemy thing going with JR. Instead of Chandler/Cortland it will be Chandler/Cambias. I also wonder what will replace the Brooke/Erica rivalry-Maybe Greenlee/Kendall. Way back when...didn't Pheobe and Myrtle compete for the same men and bicker back and forth?

Phoebe married Professor Langley Wallingford. Myrtyle "outed" him for being, I think, a pick-pocket around the carnivals where she used to work. Erica's mom, Mona, had a long-running affair with Phoebe's first husband, Dr. Tyler. I think Mona eventually married Dr. Tyler, then he passed away not too long after. I can see what you mean about the JR/Ethan thing - I just hope they get a better actor to play JR. All this one can do is scowl. Then there's always Petey...

I forgot about Petey-I guess Palmer does have an heir they can fall back on. He should be about 30, by now, in soap opera time, right? It just seems like they are creating another "power" family with the Cambias name.

Very interesting theories about the future rivalries of PV, Disney01! I could definitely see a long-standing Chandler-Cambias / Greenlee -Kendall rivalry in the making! And where has that Petey Cortlandt been lately, anyway? I loved the kid who played him last (when Kendall was his "babysitter") - he was very talented and funny! But you're right - he's probably about 30 years old, now, with the way that children age in PV (I love how Ed-dumb commented, in his fantasy, to Maria today that their children "are not babies"..........yeah, now they're pre-teens..........but in reality, they're not even 10 years old!)

While it's frustrating that JR was awarded custody of Ace / James / Adam III, knowing how "evil" he's been, I really thought that the judge was going to go with the foster care scenario. Of all of the options presented on the show, I would think that that would be the most "realistic", under the circumstances. And while I feel for Babe, why she did everything that she did, how she really has a good heart, etc., I was also sort of happy that they didn't just hand her the baby. After what Bianca went through, all those months, it shouldn't be so easy for Babe to get everything that she wants. At the same time, that was a very touching final scene today, with her collapsing on the floor and Jamie coming to comfort her.

Loved Jack punching David - Jack NEVER hits ANYONE! And loved the scene with Erica and Bianca - I just know that that going-away-party is going to be a real hanky-fest! I got all choked up watching Bianca with Tad, yesterday, and Bianca with Erica, today - when the whole town comes to see Bianca off, I think that it will be more than I can take!

Ed-dumb - what else can be said? He is unredeemable at this point - totally evil. It's so sad to see how a nice character like his was totally corrupted and ruined by this storyline. Forget "becoming a Cambias" (as the be-all and end-all to becoming "corrupt" in PV) - one just needs to look at Ed-dumb to see corruption of character! Not that Maria has been perfect, since she's been back in town. But Ed-dumb never REALLY gave her a chance, right from the start. He automatically tried to "make her" into the person whom he perceived she once was, and when she couldn't "fit into his mold", he sulked and got violent and beligerant and demanded that she change. And - as I always say - I STILL can't "forgive" him for the way that he treated Brooke, after she admitted that she'd made a mistake in not telling him that she thought she had located Maria!

In the mean time, it will be interesting to see if Krystal actually goes to jail and if so, for how long. I can't foresee them leaving her in there forever, even though she promised to "do time" so that Babe could be free.

I agree that the OLTL "Fan Favorite" seems totally un-into being there, as opposed to the AMC "Fan Favorite" who seems totally thrilled! (How does one get to be a "Fan Favorite", anyway? I'm jealous! ) As for Un-Bachelor-Bob, I guess that he's still trying to ride his wife's coattails to fame, and has been relegated to hosting these ABC Soap "special events" as a full-time job!

Who's Bianca's best friend that's going to Paris?

What exactly is Cambias (or whatever it is - the company)? Who runs it? What do they do?

Who is Greenlee and what's her background?

Ryan-- Not related to anyone from the past. He showed up as was a grifter at first. Trying to marry money.

Lily-- is Jack's daughter. He adopted her when he married Laurel.

Mianda's father-- Bianca was raped by Micheal Cambias-- Zach's brother

Maggie is going to Paris w/ Bianca. They are both leaving the show.

Cambias Industries-- Have no idea what they 'do'. Ryan was running the co after Alexander Cambias left it to him in his will if there were no other heirs. Now Ethan is running it.

Greenlee- is a Smyth and he grandparents were rich snooty people (can't remember their names). She was a brat when she first came on the show.

Greenlee grew up as a Smythe, but she is not one, she found out in the last year or two that Jackson was her father, not Roger Smythe, plus the grandparents that they have had on the show occasionally are her mothers parents, the Greenlee's, she was named after them.

I saw some old episode the other week on Soapnet during I Love Lucci thing they did and Myrtle looked so different. I almost didn't recognize her until she spoke. And I even remember seeing the episode the first time it aired!

Frankie and Maggie were not that close, Maggie came to town after Frankie died to find out more about her. Greenlee's dead husband Leo is also their cousin and David's brother, for those that don't know.

I think, though I am not sure, Micheal Cambias was either running or working for Cambias Industries before he was killed. He resented everyone in town, they all hated him, and that was before they learned he raped Bianca. It was a large company to begin with, and when he came to town he sort of did a hostile take over of several companies in town, including Chandler enterprises, Enchantment, and Fusion. As far as I can tell, it is like a larger company that owns lots of smaller companies, or something.

And one more question - whatever happened to Brooke and Tom's daughter? Was her name Laura? Did she die or vanish or what?

Laura was killed by a drunk driver as a child. Coincidentally, Brooke later adopted a drifter girl named Laura.
