Brooke and Tom's daughter Laura died, years later, I think (both events were before I started watching) the court placed a teenager also named Laura with Brooke and Brooke later adopted her, she needed a heart transplant at one point and when Ryan's wife Gillian ( second cousin to Dimitri, and thought of as family by Edmund) died Laura got her heart, at one point she had some sanity issues, I guess you would say, so she left town to deal with them

Dimitri married Alex (as played by Finola Hughes) who also played Anna on the show as identical twins seperated at birth (another LOOOOOONG story). Anyway Anna and Alex are Aidan's aunties. So, Dimi and Alex got some hot tip related to Gillian's death. It was implied and rumored at the time that maybe Gillian didn't die of course Laura got her heart so that would be hard to explain.

This hot tip required that they go to Hungary (where Dimitri was a count) to investigate. Of course this was years ago and they are still there. Apparently the tip is requiring a lot of detailed investigation and precluded them from returning to Pine Valley, even when Edmund was shot or Anna and David's baby girl died.

At one point I think Dimitri faked his own death because he had an illness he thought he was dying from. His wife, Alex, was also a twin ( Anna Devane of General Hospital and All My Children, she has a child, Robin formerly of GH, and Aidan, of AMC is Alex and Anna's nephew) started getting close to Edmund, at one point Dimitri came back for some reason and Alex went back to him and they left town together.

Wah!!!!!!!!!!! That Martina McBride song kills me when I'm thinking happy thoughts, not good with a teary goodbye scene!!!!

I know people hate Babe, but she had me sobbing yesterday when she was at Bianca's and when she curled up on the floor at the cabin. It was so sad. She has to get that baby back from JR, but how is that going to happen???

On a side note, I just read in TV guide, that Jessica on OLTL is going to develop multiple personalities just like Vicki! Glad I gave up on that show awhile ago.

I haven't seen this show in weeks, and the ONE time I watch it, Bianca is LEAVING! Waaaaaaa....messed up MY makeup today!

Today's show was so sweet. I was crying thru all the Bink's scenes but did anyone else think the music was too loud? I couldn't hear the dialogue very well. Lily's gift was so sweet. I loved all the pics. Binks sure has "grown" up on the show. It was nice of them to mention Leo. The things people were saying to Binks were so sweet and you could tell they were meant both for the show and in real life.

Now.....I wouldn't want Ryan to EVER leave Jonny-boy's side. I don't trust that character at all.

What a great show. I cried the whole time everyone was saying goodbye to Bianca and when she was remembering everyone while waiting on the plane. It was nice to see Leo and Lena.

Didn't Miranda look so comfortable when Zach was holding her. I like how she laid her head on his shoulder.

Looks like there is more Ed-Dumb tomorrow. His goodbye from Pine Valley is something I will be glad to miss.


Looks like tomorrow will bring more tears. My makeup can't handle it

They show Bianca and Maggie in the previews for tomorrow. Everything I read said the 24th was their last day. I hope so since i'm not ready to say goodbye yeet

I tried going back to several pgs of posts...why is Bianca leaving the show?? I've been puzzled the last few days on the show. I had no idea. I will really miss her.

Edmunds last air date is Monday, the 28th. Read it in a magazine in the checkout line tonight. He said he had planned on quitting the show, but had hoped to make it to the fall. Said something about how he is getting a divorce and they have to move out of their house, etc., and the fall would have been a better time. Doesn't seem he is too pleased with how they are handling his exit since they are killing him but he understands why. He said he thinks it is financial since he has been on the show for a while he makes a pretty good salary. Something about making as much in a year as they would pay 4 new young 'kids.'

We're a day behind here (don't ask, I think it used to be because all the farmers used to go home for lunch & had to be able to see the livestock reports on the noon news), I'll be sure & have my tissues handy for tomorrow's show.

Out of curiousity (and boredom) I just looked to see how old Bianca should be - soap life ages you fast. Bianca should be 17, JR should be 16 and Jaimee should be 14!

I remembered being pregnant at the same time as Erica. Glad I'm not a grandma yet!

It has been a while since I have been on here & so much is happening! Why is Eden Reigel leaving the show? I was in tears yesterdday...wasn't prepared..had no idea Bianca was leaving!!!

I was prepared, but I was in tears too! I think I read that Eden is leaving to go to the West coast for the new casting season. I'd also read (maybe a year ago?) that she'd deferred admission to college, but I thought it was Yale or Harvard ....so I guess she's not planning on getting that degree just yet.

Whatever her reason for leaving, she is really going to be missed!
