All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

Haunted Mansion has become a favorite of Jeremy's. It is okay but I too don't care for the feeling of that ride. It always seems musky in there.

Love all the new additions to the family!!! Too cute.

Love all the new updates!!!

We went to Tweetsie this weekend to see Thomas so I haven't been around much lately.

So sad that you are saying good-bye to EPCOT - but in real time, you are going to be saying Hello oh so soon.

HM is one of my favorites. Chloe has never really been scared on it, but just about everytime we go on it, she has to ask "This not scary, right?" Just needs a little reassurance that nothing has changed from the last time we rode it:)

I'll definitely have to try it at night sometime! Usually, I'm walking around WS with my mom at night, but we'll have to go over there sometime, too.

I love the picture of Mickey's Christmas Carol. Those were awesome to see when I was there; I had no idea they were out! I grew up watching it every Christmas and still love it and watch it every year. :)

There were a bunch of those windows. Since I think I have taken pictures of all of them before, I didn't make much effort to take any this time. I was really trying to soak the 'feel' of Main Street Disney World into my every pore, as I knew we were not coming back for a long time! ;)

I am another one who loves Living With The Land!:goodvibes I usually have to go on it alone though...I'm looking forawrd to riding it with my neice and nephew this fall. They are growing a little vegetable garden this year so I bet they will love it! Its so peaceful I think!

It looks like a nice big family Brooklynn and Bella have going! I love Bella's big grin by the dino (and the hidden Brooklynn!).

On a side note, Jill's doppleganger who used to come in to my store all the time was in tonight. I hadn't seen her in quite a while and now I know why - she had a baby! A little girl...named Brooklyn! :rotfl: Too weird! I wish I could sneak a picture of her somehow! I wonder if she's a Disney fan too!

I bet they will like it. Maybe they'll get some big dreams for future gardens! :thumbsup2

You should tell Jill's twin that you need her picture to show to someone who looks like her. She might be kind enough to pose. :goodvibes Funny that she named her baby Brooklyn. Did you ask her about the spelling? What if it was really double nn? Whoah!

I love The Land mosaic. I remember from the story of it that the creator hid his two children's birthstone colors in the design. :goodvibes

I love the Haunted Mansion...but I hate the going backwards part!

When I have some time for pleasure reading, I am going to look it up again. Write now, I have to clean out my big freezer to get it ready for camp food, and I have a stack of documents from the workshop yesterday that I am supposed to immerse myself in. :sad2:

The backward part gives me some chiropractic treatment. It feels good to get my back vertebrae stretched out a bit.

I am with you about Haunted Mansion. It's just ok for me. I like the music.

Love the pic with the palm tree & Epcot ball.:goodvibes

I ride it whenever they want to, but it's one I could pass by with no problem, too. Too dark and 'stuffy' feeling for me.

I almost always take a picture of the ball and palm tree as we leave, especially for the last time. Seems like something I am supposed to do, for some reason.

Yes, seems like maybe someone should do some cleaning in that place, huh? :upsidedow

It's more amazing than scary, so that's not it for me. It's the dark, closed-in, dusty feeling I don't care for. Maybe it's because it reminds me of my least favorite chore - dusting!

We are in our teens! :dance3: We've gone from 25 weeks and a few days down to almost 2, and we didn't spontaneously combust without a spring break trip, so I'm feeling successful with that. :thumbsup2

WOW! Lots of new friends indeed! I get it... I STILL like getting stuffed animals haha!

I agree on the Haunted Mansion thing! I like the ride... but I don't love it. Old dusty scary things tend to freak me out a little bit. :rotfl:

The backward part gives me some chiropractic treatment. It feels good to get my back vertebrae stretched out a bit.

I can just see me telling a medical professional - I need to go to WDW to ride Haunted Mansion - it will help my back feel better! Will insurance cover the cost?

TEENS!!! :cheer2:

Were ALL those friends new that trip? I see a couple we have around here too!

I love all of the new additions to the family, I spy a couple of Disney babies that we have in our family too.

We have had a lovely weekend of celebrations for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee;
Friday was the last day of our schools half term. We had a lovely street party style lunch, for all staff and pupils.
The town I live in had a street party on Sunday.
My girls and I watched the Buckingham Palace concert on TV last night and sang along as we waved our flags, the projections onto the palace reminded us of 'Magic, Memories & You'.
Today the TV has been on almost all day with live coverage of the service at St. Pauls Cathedral and the carriage procession through the streets of London.

We are going up to Scotland for a wedding on Thursday and coming home on Saturday.
I think I'll need another week off work after all that :upsidedow
We are back at school on Monday for the final 6 weeks of our school year.

So enjoyed the EPCOT pictures. The Land boat ride is one of my favorites! Packing to go is always sad! But knowing you have another trip soon has to help!

Just dropping in real quick to say I uploaded about 80 pics from AoA (or Art as my SIL) calls it to my FB. (oh and my SIL transferred from Pop to the new resort!! She's so lucky!!!) I'll be adding the same pics to my blog and a few videos soon.

As much as I hate dusting, I'm never going to let my place get that bad. I'd be a little freaked out, too. ;)

All from that trip. And that dino is no little fella, either. Did you notice the small, plastic friends? You can't see them so well.

I have my suitcase open in the back room, and things are being tossed that way as they are purchased. I'll get serious about the organization of it all about three days before we leave.

So much excitement is going on! :woohoo: You probably will need a day to rest and relax. A friend of mine just had a wedding, and they have Scottish heritage, so the men wore kilts and bagpipes were played. Very different for this area. ;)

When I opened my suitcase to begin my pre-packing, I pulled out several park maps with the holiday covers. :santa: We made it from winter to summer without a spring trip after all!

I will be happy to see thos pictures. :thumbsup2

So the insiders are calling it 'Art', huh? ;) Is she a front desk person? Maybe we can cross paths with her while we are there.

Do you know where we went to soak up some last evening Disney magic?

Did you guess a helicopter ride? ;)

We went to see the children of the world!

You are already aware that I take like 147 pictures on this ride, right?

Hope you enjoyed your ride. Please gather all your belongings, and watch your step as you exit the ride vehicle.

Love that ride!! My brother is a music major and he hummed that song our whole trip. He kept trying to think of something else, but always came back to that one. :)

I love IASW! We somehow didn't get to go on it this past trip, and I really miss it. Definitely need to go on next time!

Small world is just one of those rides that you HAVE to ride. It wouldn't be a Disney trip without it! Love all the pictures, especially the one of the tiger with the umbrella.

I love "Small World". In fact, I video'd a lot of it last time we were there.

Enjoyed my boat ride through the small world. I agree-It's a classic, and doesn't seem like a trip unless you do IASW! :)

You should tell Jill's twin that you need her picture to show to someone who looks like her. She might be kind enough to pose. :goodvibes Funny that she named her baby Brooklyn. Did you ask her about the spelling? What if it was really double nn? Whoah!

If I weren't in a professional situation I would probably try to show her a picture of Jill and get one in return!:lmao: I did ask if she spelled it with a double "n" but she said no....I just mentioned that I knew of a little girl who spelled it that way!;) I actually have 2 regulars who have kids named Brooklyn! One is a boy though...but it is a super cute name! :)

All I can think of while looking at your IASW pictures is my niece Mia on the phone talking about WDW and her singing the song to me in her own styling. "It's a smaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalll world! Its a smaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalll world! It's a smaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaalll world.....world, world world! Smaaaall world, world, in the woooooooorrrrrrrlllllllldddddd!" I wish I had her on tape! :rotfl: I can't wait to ride it with her! It's fun riding vicariously through your pictures!

HM is not my favorite, either, but my princess loves it. I do really like the new queue. The backwards bit is a favorite part on Spaceship Earth, too.

Great IASW pictures, as usual. Mine are never that good. I love riding, but then I like to do something else right after, to get that song out of my head. Just looking at your pics started that ear worm again!

Well, our Cinderella (the youth musical) days are over, and the kids did an amazing job. Our lead had the most perfect Cinderella hands, always posed just like the original Disney princess. And she was inspiring to watch with all her sweet little fans. For the wrap party, I made tons (we fed 250) of savory & sweet treats. You can just imagine my kitchen! And you bet I double-checked that the kitchen door was closed whenever I went out, so no concerned neighbor would call Officer Friendly over to check on a flapping door. :rolleyes1

Yippee for teens!!!!!! :woohoo:
