All I Want For Christmas Is an Okapi, a Dinosaur, a Herd of Elephants and ...

I would love the monorail to put around my Christmas tree!!:goodvibes

Going for a swim at Anita's sounds good to me. I'll bring some pasta salad.;)

We uncovered our pool over the weekend but the water is COLD!! Like Anita said it may be July before I get in.

Whew, I just got through 30+ pages of catch up but finally am caught up on your report!!!

Love the name Sophie!!!

Congrats Brooklyn on graduation (she was too cute in her cap and gown) and her dance recital! Exciting times for all of you!

Love all your shopping pictures. I need to pay more attention in World of Disney. I miss so much that you captured!

Too funny about the bill at O'hana's. Good luck with it this time.

Poor Mingo! I didn't see him in the spring. Jeremy and I wondered all over that tree house this time looking at things.

You will love the new Dumbo. It is a very pretty ride. That whole area made me giddy!

Loved your pictures of the Christmas parade during the daytime. We have only seen it at night during the parties.

Alright, I must confess, your report had me pricing out a stay at Disney prior to our cruise at Thanksgiving. We had decided not to go to Disney beforehand and added days to spring break but now I am not sure. If I can go very cheap, MAYBE, I can get Tom to agree. I don't want to use points as I am saving them for our big summer 2014 two weeks of Disney!!! Tom says all I do with his extra squard money is plan a vacation when there are bill that need to be paid. :confused3

:dance3:Yay, you are getting closer!!!

I love the monorail! I think it would look fantastic going around a Christmas tree when I get my own place...:scratchin

I'm not sure we've ever seen Ridemakerz. My dad usually doesn't come to DTD but it definitely looks like something he'd be interested in, because he LOVES cars. Cars have always, always, always been his "thing." His Jeep is kind of like one big toy that he can drive around, on or off-road.

First of all, congrats on another school year being done! I'm loving all the shopping pictures - I've been making notes on things to look for on our next trip. Note to self: Go to World of Disney early!

We have a monorail and had it around our Disney Christmas tree last year. DH picked it out for his souvenir on our last trip (that was over a year ago!)

I have heard of ketchup chips. Old Dutch made them - I think it was at the state fair one year they were giving out small bags of them to try - must have been a pilot project area or something. I don't think I tried them, but my kids did. They are ketchup lovers!

I do love DTD!! I also really like that monorail set!! So did Bella ever decide on the Dino or Hippo?!?

So how has the first day of Summer gone for you???? I went to the dentist (you know we always make those appts for the summer LOL) I hope to sleep in tomorrow LOL~!

In your last shopping pictures their were several things that would make perfect gifts for little boys. I also need a monorail to go around my Christmas tree or a Disney train set.

I always forget to look beyond the merchandise at the Disney stores! Thank you for posting all of the pictures around the stores, I really have to try to remember to look around in the future!

I can't believe we will be gone for almost a month, June 11 through July 8. That's a long time for my pool to be lonely, the pets to be in the kennel, and most of all for a new grandbaby to be without his Mimi.
I told Marc that it wouldn't be such a long trip next summer.

Anita! Has the new baby arrived?

Anita! Has the new baby arrived?

No baby yet. Keeley is due on June 7th. We are supposed to hit the road for Disney on the 11th. There may be some sort of showdown between the Dr. and I if he won't induce her on the 8th. (If she hasn't gone by then).
We cruise on the 15th so I have to be in Orlando by the 14th... I might be flying down if I have to.

Oh and MeMom, we have a covered area on our deck, plus lots of shade trees in the backyard.
Lots of DIS kids can fit in the pool and play on the equipment in the yard. We will be fine!

Actually theres a company called Herr's that makes Ketchup chips but you can only get them at Walmart during the summer (at least here in Indiana) I find them  but the teenage brother thinks they are glorious

I have seen those Herr's ketchup chips...I havn't tried them so I can't give a review.
I know the flavor isn't for everyone but I find them yummy.
They were one of the things my DMom would send me when I lived down South. :)

Mndisneygirl We have Old Dutch chips here...luv them all! They took over the old Humpty Dumpty brand flavors.

Shopping day was fun!
I brought home lots of great things.
Made it home in time for Lexi to get home from school.

Cute animal friends that came home with the girls at Once Upon a Toy.
Some of those animal babies have made it home with us too. ;)

I think you should buy the Contemporary and the Monorail sometime...it would be so fun to take it into your class!

My hubby wants a monorail too. He looks at them every time we go. :thumbsup2 I don't think I've ever gone in the Once Upon a Toy Store. We usually spend most of our time in World of Disney. Loving the shopping pictures this morning, as always!

Okay then, I will bring corn on the cob and a dessert. Trent can grill some BBQ chicken.

Glad to see you back again!

I suspect we will head to Magic Kingdom on our first day of this trip.

Two weeks will be wonderful! I'm getting one day shy of that this year, and I think it is going to be awesome!

I love the monorail! I think it would look fantastic going around a Christmas tree when I get my own place...:scratchin

That's Drew - he's all about cars. He knows them inside and out and can tell you dates they were created and what kind of rims, tires, engines, and everything else they have from a thousand feet away. He never could remember that amount of information for any academic test he ever had in school.

Great souvenir! ::yes::

I will probably not fight anyone over those chips. ;)
I might try a small one someday.

She got the hippo.

This week I have been able to get a lot of stuff done around the house. Everything is in good order here now.

In your last shopping pictures their were several things that would make perfect gifts for little boys. I also need a monorail to go around my Christmas tree or a Disney train set.

They have a lot of great things in that boys' section. I will probably bring back some of our little boy cousins something this summer, since they aren't going this year. They are going in May of next year, so they are excited about seeing the Star Wars people/parade/etc. One set of the boys got to go about a month ago, and they loved it. The parents fell in love with the place and often talk about their next trip.

Actually theres a company called Herr's that makes Ketchup chips but you can only get them at Walmart during the summer (at least here in Indiana) I find them  but the teenage brother thinks they are glorious

I like French fries with ketchup, but chips just don't sound good to me.

Look up, down, and all around. ::yes::

It will be a blast! :cool1:

I don't think I would share the monorail with my class. I would keep it all for us at home. :rolleyes1

Glad you got to have a good day of shopping. :woohoo:

Once Upon a Toy has a lot of board games, books, and music, along with all the toys.

Art of Animation opens to the public today... I really want to drive over and see if we can take a peek. We tried over the weekend, but they said they were only allowing special guests in at the time.

Woo hoo Dis just reported that Generation Gap bridge is Open!

All caught up! I missed everyone!! Sorry I was MIA for a while. Busy work & busy at home but I found some time today to check in! :)

I'm so excited that your summer trip is fast approaching!!! :)

On to Art of Disney.

Same with my dad! He can tell me this car is this year because of this detail or that detail. The one TV show I watch is Supernatural, and there is this '67 or '68 Chevy Impala in it. Every time my dad happens to be watching it, he starts saying, "sixty-seven. No, sixty-eight. No, it's definitely a sixty-seven."

I am obsessively checking Twitter to see AoA pictures! I am SO excited to see it in person, and to hopefully see it in your pictures, too. :)
