Interesting thought. Is it price per point? Or delta between direct and resale for each resort? If there were a fire sale, what would the (realistic) price per point be and what would you buy? Maybe that should be a new thread![]()
Direct same as resale definitely fits the bill.Interesting thought. Is it price per point? Or delta between direct and resale for each resort?
VGF was so tempting for me at 161.10 because it was basically the resale price with less dues.

They are usually available the next day. People check the URL links and post them as they are updated. Guides start to send them out the next day. Ancillary incentives (Visa, D23, etc.) trickle in over the next day/sHow long after the current incentives end will we have to wait before they release the next chunk of incentives?
Cant speak for DCL but Aulani had a similair sale last year as well. I was at the park in April, May and also August/Sept it didn't feel empty to me any of those times. If they have a good sale Im going to bet it still wont be as cheap as it was a year ago.I’m no expert but it feels like a good sale is coming. I think the company is experiencing softening demand company-wide. Disney Cruise line has a big sale going for fall and winter cruises and Aulani now has a big winter sale on for cardmembers. And of course the reporting all summer has been how empty the parks are (relatively speaking). I have to think if people are pulling back on just a one off vacation, the big purchase of a DVC contract might end up on the back burner. Any past experience with this in a down time for the resort that is a good comparison?
I dont even have an Oct UY and I got those same emails. I wonder if they're a little under their sales goals for this quarter.I have been a dvc member for five years.
This is the first time i have gotten a cold call and random email from my guide the month before my use year trying to get me to add on before my october use year.
I am not sure why.

I bit on CFW FW39 122points + 28pointer to get to 150point threshold for $35250 ($235pp)…From the most recent report, DVC sales have been skyrocketing...

Late Summer Incentives Help Boost DVC Direct Sales In August 2025:

"In mid-July, Disney improved the sales incentives for current owners adding points at Disney’s Riviera Resort, The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas. Buyers responded to these incentives, resulting in all three resorts recording marked improvements in their sales. In August, Riviera saw a 39.4% increase over what it had averaged the previous three months."
Interesting. Same article says 11% better than last year so far. So then all is well in DVC land versus the rest of the vacation data….From the most recent report, DVC sales have been skyrocketing...

LOL I love this pic but my guide was right -- we're post 09/16 and the Welcome Home weeks are still alive. I still haven't added on points yet. Still trying to see what other ancillary incentives I might qualify for.
I am hearing the Disney Visa is $1k. off.. Is it $1500 at CFW only?I bit on CFW FW39 122points + 28pointer to get to 150point threshold for $35250 ($235pp)…
-$35pp. Developer Credit (includes Welcome Home Week)
-$1500 Disney Visa
-$500 D23 membership
-$2500 Capitol One Biz Spark
-$3000 MB
Final $22500 ($150 pp)
I am hearing the Disney Visa is $1k. off.. Is it $1500 at CFW only?
I have attempted to do so. For 150 points, I get:
$235 normal $/p -$15 = $220 $/p. With $500 D23 discount and $3000 MB, you get $29,500, or $197 effective $/p.
I was wondering the same.. but my guide just told me its not for PIT...Is there a Disney Visa card discount of $1500 for Poly like CFW?
