Tipping for in-room dining in one bedroom concierge

Hello - we are staying in a one-bedroom concierge room on Magic and I’m curious how guests usually tip for setting up in-room dining for breakfast and dinner. Looks like they do quite a bit (table cloths, plating, etc.) so I am assuming we should plan to tip generously each time?

We just returned from sailing the Fantasy in a one-bedroom concierge room. We ordered in-room breakfast and there was no "set-up" on the dining room table. They simply bring the food in and place it on the table which is nice but is just like ordering room service from any type of room. When we were on the Magic in the Royal Suite there was the table cloth setup when we ordered dinner from Palo in the room. The other difference is the Concierge Staff will handle the setup for the Royal Suite, they do not bring the food up to the one-bedroom suite. To answer the question, yes we definitely tip cast members who bring the food to the room regardless of how much setup is done. Just don't expect them doing anything beyond delivering your food.

Thanks! I’ve seen YouTube videos that imply there’s a lot more set up for a one bedroom but I suppose everyone can have different experiences.

They do the tablecloth, etc, in the one bedroom when you order dinner from the MDR. I can't recall if they also did it for the hot breakfast.

I honestly don't remember what we did for tipping, as it was a couple years and several cruises ago. The staff that brings the food is different from the concierge team, so you should not assume that tips you leave for the concierge team (as part of the standard gratuities) will include this.
