A Wigdout trip report, DISmeets, Flashing Jelly Rings and Manpris, Oh MY!

And this whole time I thought you mistyped flip flop! :rotfl:

Can you please explain what a fit flop is? Does it actually help you get fit? :confused3

Gum! UGH! Thats why Disney doesn't sell it on property! I'm so sorry about your gum bum.

The flip-flops are the best - so cute!!!

I will have to try that Welsh Dragon - I usually don't have too many drinks at WDW; it seems that the combination of the heat and the alcohol can make me loopy :lmao: but I might have to get that one!
Those fit flops are really cute! I'm enjoying them. I don't drink much at Disney, I wouldn't want to waste a minute of my fun at Disney by the bad combination of too much to drink and that sun. So one is my limit! I will tell you though that the Welsh Dragon tasted a little to me like cough syrup.
This girl is on a mission to ruin fun at Disney.....

Yes, behind that cute exterior lurks a trip spoiler...:headache:
I love the fish and chips at Rose and Crown Sorry to hear Shephards Pie wasn't so good! I love the warm apple thing! I like the welsh dragon! hopefully you kept the glass it came in!
I did keep the glass, I thought it was a neat souvie! I'm not sure the Shephard's Pie wasn't good, Baylor just didn't like it. Probably the taste buds of a 10 year old!

Love the bronze fit flops! Uggghhhh about the chewing gum. Looking at that Welsh Dragon is making me thirsty!
Thanks, the bronze are my favorite too! Gum on the backside is a royal pain! I'll tell you, the Welsh Dragon was very pretty to look at but I wasn't fond of the taste. I may have to stick to the adult slushies!
To echo what everybody else has said, love the bronze fit flops. You've got quite the cute flip flop collection, lady! Did you wear your switch flops much at Disney?
I took the switch flops but only wore them when I wanted to match a certain outfit for a dinner out. Never for park touring, they have NO arch support. I do love the Bronze fit flops too! For the most part I stick with my Teva Mush flip flops for park touring, I can walk all day in those babies!:goodvibes

[Your Rose and Crown meal looks devine, and whew, I'm glad you found that poor lonely pea a friend.:rotfl:
Our Rose and Crown meal was awesome! Don't you love the happy ending to the lonely little pea?

Gotta love that stroll from the Beach Club, and what a great way to start your day, a dip in that fabulous pool.:cloud9:
You just can't beat the location of the Beach Club and SAB is in a league by itself!

Well, they claim to firm up your legs with regular wearing, personally I see no difference. I haven't worn them nonstop since we got back and I haven't done too much walking either. So I'm not the best example.

Gum! UGH! Thats why Disney doesn't sell it on property! I'm so sorry about your gum bum.
Yep, the gum bum was a low moment for me. I have seen gum stuck other places at Disney, I'm sure the CMs get very tired of cleaning it up. It's sad when people are unable to dispose of it as they should.

Yeesh! I love your FitFlops!! Mine are just the boring old black ones !
Like your henna on your foot! How long did it last?
Food at Rose and Crown looks good.....very yummy and I am happy that the peas found each other! :rotfl:
I think I am also going to adopt your "last ice standing" for my next trip! Looks like a fun way to cure the temper tummy before the food comes! :lmao:

Here is the boypri picture I snapped on Monday! :woohoo:

OK....Now I am all caught up with reading and pictures and I absolutely LOVE those flip (fit) flops or whatever they are called. All the food looks delicious and I especially love the Ohana's pics because I love those chicken wings. I would be happy to just eat the chicken wings, salad, lo mein, and shrimp when I go to Ohana's. Yum! The Rose and Crown dinner looks pretty yummy, too. Love the illuminations pictures. How lucky of you to score such a great seat.

Strolling in and out of World Showcase from your five minutes away room sounds lovely. :)

It was nice of the guy to give Baylor the basketballs. I'm sure they are treasured items.

I can't believe you play with your food. I would never do that! :rolleyes1

Although it is always hard to detox back into reality from a Disney trip, it's nice to be back to seeing everyone else's trip pictures. I was wondering how much I was missing while we were gone.

Oh yeah, I like the fit flops, too.

Are yours super comfortable? Mine sure are!

The henna lasted about 5 days, I think it would have lasted longer if I had been able to wear my regular flip flops but after a mishap I had to wear the fit flops and they rubbed it off...

The peas were very happy to be together! The food was fantastic!

Playing that games really does help us pass the time while waiting for our food to arrive.;)

Yep they are fit flops and they are wonderful!

I'm a big fan of the pot stickers and the shrimp, add the salad and that would make me an awesome meal. Rose and Crown was very delish, and we did have the BEST seats ever for Illuminations!

We were really terribly spoiled by the end of the trip.:sad2:

I'll revisit those treasured items later in the report...:rolleyes1

Ohhhh, so those corn dog nuggets arranged themselves?!?:rotfl2:

I'll bet it's hard to get caught up, but I agree, seeing all of our friends pics on the DIS is a great way to ease back into the real world.

Oh yeah, I like the fit flops, too.
I was worried after I came home that I wouldn't get my money's worth out of them but I sure have!

I see you have been having fun updating while I have been slaving away...;)

The yogurt parfait, the candy in Germany, and the chocolate scotch cake have me drooling!!!

That gum incident! :sad2: Were your pants ever the same again???

How was your first day? I've been up and at school everyday this week (except today) at 8 working with my team mates. We officially start next Wednesday. I really feel like summer is over...

I have one candy bar stashed, this weekend might just be the time to get it out. We came home from Disney and tried to recapture the yogurt parfait, they were good but not as good as the ones at Disney!

That gum incident! :sad2: Were your pants ever the same again???
After much picking and some gum remover I did get it all out. What a pain!

Isn't it a sad feeling knowing summer is almost over -- although our weather is certainly saying differently.

The first day with students (today) went very well! I hope that means the rest of the year will be as wonderful! :thumbsup2

I am so glad the gum came out -- no thanks to KP!

I definitely think the candy bar should come out this weekend as an end-of-summer treat!

i saw those fit flops when we were in disney and thought they were so cute but I have to know.. are they comfy? and do they do anything in the sense of "fit"?

And... how do you drink your drinks when you are playing the last ice standing game lol I wonder it every time you post the pictures of them

It is sad, I'm not a winter person at all. Give me spring and the glimpse of warm weather and I'm a happy girl!

I hope they keep doing whatever they did for you today!

That Kim Possible, nothing but trouble!

I wonder if I should tell anyone that I'm getting it out?;)

They are comfy, but I have not seen one bit of fit, maybe if I walked a couple of miles a day in them though.

You have to very carefully lift the straw up without dumping the ice off the end.

I imagine they won't be having any if that's the terms....:rotfl2:

Oh, you know those 6th graders were frightened, but then my 7th grade classes came in and since they had me last year (Chelsea included), there isn't much bluffing with them.

:lmao: I suspected as much! Well, enjoy that candy bar all by yourself! :thumbsup2

Are you ready to start, Anita? Are you getting nervous about your grade change? I had lunch today with a friend who's moving from 5th to 2nd and I thought about you.

I got my class list today (26 kids: 14 girls, 12 boys). We're spending tomorrow at Splash Country for a last hurrah before I start on Monday. I really should spend it in my classroom, but I promised my kids we'd have one more day off together!

I'll bet those 7th graders were such big shots! I'm not sure that I realized Chelsea was one of your students! I'm sure she is a very good girl for you. I worry about Baylor and I being next door to each other...

Planning on it!:thumbsup2

We are getting ready and will be ready for sure when the time comes for our parent meeting next Thursday night. I'm a little nervous about the change in grade level, how is your friend feeling about it? I would imagine she is feeling a bit of relief in regards to state testing.

I've been working all week and don't see any stopping until it's done. At last count I have 18 2nd graders and I think it's about half of each. Have fun at Splash! If we're lucky we will have some pool time here at home.
