Ack, you quoted what I edited out! And I thought I did it quick enough. I didn't want it to sound like I wasn't loyal to my TA and/or like I was wanting to do something sneaky or underhanded. LOL

If it was possible to do that- it wouldn't be too much work for me. After all... it would pay $500 to do so!

But in any case, I have wrote my TA and I'm eagerly awaiting their response to see what they say. I have received a LOT of PMs from people with various different TA's and all of them are offering to match what DU is offering. So this isn't a case of only DU offering this- it's many TA's. It will be interesting to see how my TA responds....

I have always made my own for DS's birthday parties (I'm bad at names and it helps to know which kid is which!). I usually just print on large address/shipping labels (I think they are 2"x3"). Since that is a very standard size, they are available as cheaper "house brands" at office depot or office max or anywhere like that. I usually copy some clipart from the internet and put on the labels on one side and leave the rest blank. Then each person fills out their own as they arrive.

Hmm. I have talked to my TA and he is not going to be offering an increase; at least that is the plan for the moment. I guess it would be helpful if we could share which are offering and which are not, but considering the boards are sponsored by Dreams I don't believe that is a possibility.

Actually, once I get back from this cruise I was going to get started on ours. Especially now that I have the know-how!!!
My DH is not interested in either a Brunch or an Afternoon Tea - So, I was going to do the same here w/Ladies Brunches and Teas!! The Private Room at Palo holds a Max. of 14. There are 7 sea days - and other groups will likely be trying to book the room also. Oh - no private room for tea though.

I guess for us though it's Wenches rather then Ladies!!!

I don't think we're allowed on the board to start talking about other TA's. However, I'd be very interested in finding out which TA you used that is not offering an increase. I haven't heard back from my TA but maybe it's the same one you are using. Would you mind PM'ing me which TA you used?

I obviously can't list out TA's here on the board but I have received several PMs and each one using a different TA that are increasing the OBC to match DU's.
I'm curious not only which TA your using but also how your TA responded to say they are not increasing it- even though all these others are? Does your TA know that others are increasing theirs?

Does anyone know where I can get Disney themed name tags?

On the med repo I've orgnaized 2 Laides' Brunches at Palo and and a Ladies afternoon tea. Many of the ladies haven't met before so I thought name tags might be a good idea.

And since the dis'ers always have the answers - Help!!!

We really can't compare TAs on the DIS boards, but we could use The Pirate Zone website for this kind of information.

Perhaps the web developer could recieve PMs from us and the May thread, collect the information and post it to that site.

Being a developer of websites for over 11 years I know this is not a lot of effort. The page doesn't have to be pretty just contain the information we want to share.

Yeah, I'm more than willing to organize Palo Brunch/Tea for the Wenches. I think someone already offered way back when. But, I do know the ropes now so 2nd time around it should be a lot easier!!

My TA is a private lady that I guarantee you no else is using. She is extremely good though. Last year in Alaska we were so confusing. All 31 of us were coming from separate airlines, separate cities, very confusing combinations of family members in 16 different cabins. She handled everything w/out a single hitch and we each (including kids) got a $50.00 credit and she paid for a private cocktail hour for all of us.
So, I feel it would be wrong to ask her for an additional credit. These days TA's do not make a ton of commission anymore. I want to keep in her very good graces. Seriously, that would be almost half her commission if she credited me $400.00. Yal are just going to be in the spa or bar more than me.

If the Pirate Zone Website is to be an arm of a DIS Cruise Meet thread, I think this may be a "slippery slope" you are sliding down...JMO
