Like a lot of you all it has bee a crazy week for us here. I finished making our t-shirts and now on to packing for the trip.LOL I am so glad I finished the FE gifts a couple of weeks ago!!

I started making more magnets then ran out of paper ~ ug; another trip to the store!

I made us t-shirt transfers for Pirate night (I am not able to find any POFC t-shirts). Hope Jayde will wear it.

Have a feeling this is going to be a LONG day. Seems like I still have a lot of running around to do & then my mom invited us over for lunch for 1pm.

I only work 4 days this week.. so it is either going to go really SLOW or extremely FAST. I am pretty much packed minus essentials/carry-on & Jayde hasn't even started (will be doing laundry Thurs since she has 1/2 day).

Why can I not get motivated to pack for myself? I think because it involves trying everything on and I hate that.

We picked up Brandon's suit and dress pants today and got the other things he needed yesterday, now I have to get myself organized so I know what I still have to buy.

My older sona nd his girlfriend are flying down late on Friday--which makes me nervous becuase I know he will wait til the last minute to pack and I won't be here to be sure he has everything!

We will get to Orlando in the afternoon Friday and just relax at AKL. My parents will arrive around 7 or so depending on the ME-which is NOT magical and never exprexx when we use it, but free makes it okay.

Yes I am last because I don't like doing the.... look at myself in clothes experience!!!!!!

Stephanie: I am SHOCKED, too!!! As of Friday when I was looking at posted cabin availabilty on a cruise website there were about 7 cabins - 2 cat 9's, 1 cat 7, and 3 cat 4's. Either someone is going to get a GREAT upgrade for their last minute Cat 12 booking or they are truly not showing all of the available inventory. CRAZY.

Deb: I understand teen girl angst... DD told me (screamed, actually) yesterday that she has hated her childhood to date. (To note: this will be her 12th cruise. Her life really stinks.) One of her gripes (drumroll, please): she never gets to buy anything full price and not off a sale rack!

hi everyone! Too funny Donna . . I just cant wait for the drama of a teenage girl . . . sigh. Love your FE Denise - expecially the names - the script looks really good. Hopefully I'll finish packing today - waiting for Ally to get home from vacation with her dad so I can wash her clothes. They went to a farm in Nebraska so they should smell lovely!
I cant believe how much STUFF I have. I swore I would pack less this time - we never use all the clothes - especially the "nice" clothes for Ally. She's in and out of her dinner outfits so fast she could wear the same one every single night. So I am doing pretty well on clothes, but its the other stuff thats taking up a whole suitcase - snorkeling gear, sunscreen, over the door shoe holder, hats, medicine we might need but probably wont, room deodorizer. And thats not even including the FE gifts, which include candy I cant ship. Sheesh, I've turned into my mother!!!

Wanted to say Good Morning!

So the packing must start again today but I do have wonderful news hehe ....

Last night (Thanks to DSIS advice) as per DH Rob's request I dressed the children and we all went out for dinner to Red Robin..... Then the best part happened I went to JC Penny and I got a swimsuit...... They were on sale 40% off then an extra 15% off for the Sat sale....... WHOOP WHOOP!!!!!!! I went and told my DH my suit was 78 and he had this look like then I said you know me better I got it on sale


Another tip...clean out your fridge of any leftovers before your departure!!!!!

This will slowly become ingrained in my DD Layla as well and she is only 2 so I will show her the way and guide her to the back!!!! And when she questions the sale rack I will say hmmmmm wear clothes on sale on vacation or wear clothes regular price sitting at home watching vacation on TV

ARGHHHHHH.... so me,being me, couldn't resist and I had to go check, and sure enough, there are Cat 12s on both the DCL website and cruise dot com... $699 pp ($1538 for 2 with tax) which, to me, means that you automatically get a Cat 9, 7, 5 or 4! (Unless they bump someone up and backfill but why would they want to keep juggling folks). I wish that I could understand the great folks of Disney sometimes!!!

Update at 8:59 am when I went to price out a Cat 12 again (to see about adding DD's BFF) -- the Cat 12's are gone (for 2 or 3 people). On both websites.

Well I have packed the FE gifts and DIS gift. Tomorrow, I will try to do most of the clothes for Rob and I. Ben is on his own.

Does anyone know if there are any cat 3's left? If we're going to upgrade at port, would do so for a suite, if possible. And of course, depends on the price. On our last cruise, DCL upgraded us from a 9 to a 6 at the port, so yes, they wil continue to shuffle. I still need to make magnets - does anyone remember how far back the examples were??? I am computer challenged, but can follow directions if given. DD is designing our FE. Just needs to be sewn together. They leave in a few hours for band camp. I'll be busy all next week with house stuff - carpets are all getting cleaned, new living room furniture arriving Tues, hoping to get current living room furniture taken up to mother in law's ranch today after kids leave for camp.
Well, off to finish breakfast. DS made banana muffins (he loves to bake) and we've got bacon in the oven. The smell is heavenly!

my husband does pack himself and I am very worried because he does not want to dress up--he may claim he just forgot it--somehow whatever he forgets is my fault

I always pack for myself as well. Its just not as much fun if I can't harass someone about it!

DCL never posts suite availability -- even travel agents have to call to find out! I'm hoping for a switcheroo at port upgrade but would pay for a window at this point.

Donna - Megan is going on the Wild Side excursion too - she would like to text Morgan if she wants to - I will pm you her number...

Taina - Megan would also like to text Kaitlyn too but she may be too busy going to band camp, etc... or maybe not? These kids and their texting!! I swear Megan's phone is an extension of her body!!!

Denise - Your magnets and FE holders are awesome!!!! Mine will not be nearly as nice...I am using those Disney "What will you celebrate" bags I got from the Mickey Mom's Club and tying them together with ribbon to hang over the FE... I hope they work ok.

OK drumroll for me....... I FINISHED my FE gifts and they are all packed to ship!!!!! I am sending 2 boxes to our MCO hotel since there is candy in them I didn't want to risk sending them to the boat.

TODAY I will get the suitcases out...some last minute shopping for Megan.... I have to work Mon/Tues so I still have Wednesday for packing (we leave Thursday!) but I don't want to leave it till then!! I am getting CRAZY excited !!!!

Maureen (DisneyPoly) I need your cabin numbers..I know you posted them somewhere along the line but they are not on the list from the FE exchange that I printed a while back. THANKS!!

I hope I get my FE gifts in time. I custom ordered them last week and will call on Mon to see if they are ready. Fortunately, the maker is here in Houston! I know we have some other families joining us at the meet. I ordered extras so should have plenty. I would like to give mine out at the first Dis meet to everyone. It will help so we can find each other the first day and from then on!!!
