Was the 3 times before or after they started charging to book? The last time we had high tea before they changed it, yes, it was 2/3rds empty even though it was booked solid. .

It was Christmas 2002, 2003, 2004. I think they charged for High Tea during that time. I will try again at 75 days. What is the magic day for reservations?

I checked back again today and the message now reads - There are no more Palo Reservations available, try when you get onboard.

Ooops .. sorry ... misunderstood. Our date is Mon., March 13. Don't tell me you'd be insane enough to get up at 3:00 a.m. on a work night when you don't really have too. Or maybe one of the west-coasters could be sweet-talked into staying up late. And while he/she is at it, he/she could make my ressies for me so I don't have to get up.

And it can copy from disk to disk, without having to download and then copy.

But we don't NEED passports for this trip... correct??? I had no intention of getting them for my kids...

no, that's why I'm not stressing to much if they don't make it back in time for the cruise.

They've had them since we did our temp assignment in Canada so, figure it's just easier to keep them active, ahead of the rush at the end of the year- besides, all the Olympic skiing has now made the kids wonder when they get to go back skiing...Mom has lots more of her "ski" trips (aka cruises) to plan as compensation for being dragged every weekend of ski season during our assignment including mother's day!!!! I've only had 29 days of cruising vs over 100 ski days...Besides, it's sooo much easier to pack swimsuits, snorkels, and fins than ski clothes and equipment.

I can never figure out why people who live where its warm would want to ski???? I enjoyed skiing (occasionally) when I lived in CT & NH, but wouldn't DREAM of leaving FL to SKI!!!!!! Brrrrrr!!!!

hear hear!!! ITA!!! - that's why we introduced the kids to all the snow stuff while we lived up there (I never skied before moving up there) - so, why would I have wanted to purposely plan a trip to where it was cold and snowy???

My kids passports are due for renewal this fall. Jordan has been whining about the "ugly" picture on hers. Granted, neither of them look anything like the picture anymore. But I didn't want to risk not having them back in time for the May cruise, so I'll send for new ones for them after the cruise. Them having passports beats the heck out of having to take their birth certificates with us.

We had a HP computer at the office for awhile and it wasn't the most reliable box we've owned. But then again, it's a computer and your current pair of jeans will probably last longer.......

This is a really quiet place tonight. We have a busy next few nights, so I thought i better check here to see what is up. Tomorrow evening is Dale's music lesson, Ashley's swim practice, and the parents's meeting at church for the start of confirmation and Ash Wednesday service. Thursday night is Ashley's first night of confirmation, then we rescheduled her music lesson that is normally on Saturday, for Friday night, because she is going to her friends Bat Mitzvah on Saturday. I guess it is pretty much an all day thing. The service starts at 9 a.m. then they are serving lunch afterward until about 2, then they are having the big party at the country club Saturday night and us parents are even invited. Dale also has another jazz festival on Saturday at a high school on the other side of town. Of course, really need to make it to church Sunday, since we couldn't go last weekend because of the swim meet and then we have another swim meet the following weekend. When will my life slow down????


Vacation take me away!!

I am just getting started planning Tarryn's Bat Mitzvah which is in August and have so much to organize I't a lot more fun to go to them than organize and pay for one.

I don't know if I will see 3am, didn't for our booking date either. I am going to Chicago that day so will be home for the morning before my flight in the early afternoon so will see what I can do, although I am coming back from NC on Sunday night from our skiing trip so will see about getting up early.

Stacey - feel better! I know the feeling as I came home from work early yesterday and I'm staying home today. Face is all congested and stomach is doing flips. Yuck!

Hope you feel better, daughter had the sore stomach and fever on Saturday and it is going around.
