Actually, in Jim and Elizabeth's honor, we celebrated with dinner at Stonewoods tonight... (did I mention that neither of them were with us...)

It was delicious... Ahi tuna, crabcakes & Carribean Mahi Mahi... and Ritter's for dessert!

I was going to try for Thurs. at 3:00 since that's what Pam has already.

I'm not linked to anyone else so I guess I'll only be able to reserve for 2. But DH won't want to go.

Angie

I was wanting to know what day is the 75 day booking??

OK I guess not,

Hope you are all doing something FUN

yeah right, volleyball parents meeting at the YMCA - fun, fun, joy, joy - oh I'm sooo NOT glad I went  - BUT, on the other hand came home to a clean kitchen and the dishwasher emptied and Mike finishing up his technology paper - so, all in all it ended up being a pretty good evening... :cool1:

This is a really quiet place tonight. We have a busy next few nights, so I thought i better check here to see what is up. Tomorrow evening is Dale's music lesson, Ashley's swim practice, and the parents's meeting at church for the start of confirmation and Ash Wednesday service. Thursday night is Ashley's first night of confirmation, then we rescheduled her music lesson that is normally on Saturday, for Friday night, because she is going to her friends Bat Mitzvah on Saturday. I guess it is pretty much an all day thing. The service starts at 9 a.m. then they are serving lunch afterward until about 2, then they are having the big party at the country club Saturday night and us parents are even invited. Dale also has another jazz festival on Saturday at a high school on the other side of town. Of course, really need to make it to church Sunday, since we couldn't go last weekend because of the swim meet and then we have another swim meet the following weekend. When will my life slow down????:scared:

Vacation take me away!!

Vacation take me away!!

I'm told the answer to that is "Never". We may have a quiet period after the kids get married, and before we have grandchildren. :sad2:

I was sleeping earlier, and going back to bed now. I think I brought home a cold from Omaha.

We got all of about 10 drops of rain today. I was at least hoping for enough to settle the dust.

'Night, everyone!

Good morning everyone. Yea, it's me..the night walker. Of course I really can't complain. I went to bed around 9:00pm. Unlike the teenage years, I don't require that much sleep anymore. So here I am watching TV and checking out the DIS.

Not much happened here last night. Where is everyone?

Stacey - hope you get some rain soon. Hope you feel better soon.

Good Morning - Today is Ash Weds. which means yesterday's dinner was pancakes for Shrove Tuesday.....keeping the traditions alive.

It is the only day in the year when I make pancakes, which I am notariously bad at so last night Sam cooked. Pancakes, Eggs and Fruit...

Had lunch in Lorida FL.....but at least my trips for today and tomorrow have been cancelled so I do not need to do as much running around. Friday is LaBelle.....

What have you all been up to?

Happy Belated Birthday, Sir James!!!

Keeping it a secret does not make your birthday disappear....you are STILL another year older. :hourglass

As they toast in Ireland "May we all be alive again in 12 months".

although it sounds better with a guiness and accent.

Happy belated birthday Jim!!!

Why didn't tell us yesterday so we could have celebrated on the correct day???

Angie

Thanks for all the belated birthday wishes.

It was on Sunday and we did not end up doing much. After getting up at 4:00 on Saturday and spending it on the road, and than getting up at 3:00 on Sunday, it was a treat to not do much at all.

Happy Wednesday!
Stacey - feel better! I know the feeling as I came home from work early yesterday and I'm staying home today. Face is all congested and stomach is doing flips. Yuck!

Ooops .. sorry ... misunderstood. Our date is Mon., March 13. Don't tell me you'd be insane enough to get up at 3:00 a.m. on a work night when you don't really have too. Or maybe one of the west-coasters could be sweet-talked into staying up late. And while he/she is at it, he/she could make my ressies for me so I don't have to get up. :lmao:
