Busy weekend for us... but then again, that's the norm. Saturday was football, as usual. Definitely a colder-than-average Saturday morning... I'm losing my New England tolerance for the cold, that's for sure! (Then again, everyone was in jeans and sweatshirts, and I was in shorts and a football jersey... oh well.) Christopher's team lost, 8-0, but Ray's team FINALLY won their first game of the season... those poor kids needed a win soooo bad!
Saturday night we went to a VIP Party for the Boggy Creek Camp Charity motorcycle ride that we did on Sunday. This year's VIP's were James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano), Ronan Tynan (the Irish Tenor, who sings at the Yankee games), and Billy Lane (a custom bike builder). Tony Soprano's sister (can't remember her name) was there too.
Sunday we did the ride (another CHILLY morning, especially on the bike)... over 1000 bikes from Daytona Harley to the camp, about 50 miles away. Outback caters the entire thing, so the food is good. (No camp food...) It is such a great event, and worth every penny that we donate to participate. It's one of the Paul Newman Hole-in-the-Wall-Gang camps for seriously ill children... what a beautiful place.
