We Booked at the 9 month window and got the last 1 bedroom. I believe they have the fewest rooms of all the DVC. If this is where you want to stay I think I would make it your home resort.

I have never had trouble booking at 11 months, but as pp mentioned if you want to be able to book a studio or 1 BR you probably should make VGF your home resort.

Thanks so much. I think they will be booking a one bedroom for a couple of years and then mostly a two bedroom.

Oh no Sue!! You know what that means...you might need another trip sooner than August...This is called Disney logic!

Well as usual I will need to add a day to our stay. I decided to do it at the beginning and not the end because it's so close to thanksgiving. So I am thinking about beach club for our first day!! Then move to GFV for the rest. Any thoughts?
I noticed someone else is planing BC/GF.

That someone would be me....First time at the BC ..Best of both worlds trip! I hope....

Sue When we stayed at the Poly last year they did have yummy chocolates at turn down...smaller than the ones at the GF...but just as good..in pretty gold foil wrappers with a pineapple decoration on them....

Sue I think you will be be able to have a new collection (stash..lol..) of chocolates very soon!

Just reading what's new in the News and Updates section here..and I see that DHS..formerly MGM is going to be renamed..again.... ..I only got used to calling it DHS a few years ago... lol...wonder what the new name will be..and what other additions the park will have...I know there has been lots of speculation...??? Very curious here too...

Since we have decided to do a split stay for our next trip ....I will be spending the day rearranging park days..and of course dining!!! Since its always about the food.. Our plans were basically Epcot heavy based on staying at an Epcot resort..but want to transition some things to do more around the MK and of course the GF...Wish me luck!

Hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend... preppy GF gal...who will be busy rearranging many of our trip plans!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ..lol...

We are doing a GF/ BC split this year. We are doing 4/5 nights. We will concentrate on MK a lot our first 4 with AK thrown in too and then we will do epcot and HS with some MK the last 5.

I think you will love it. We do.

No now I just went back and saw GF so I did make that up.

abk96 We are planning the exact opposite BC then GF... Have been thinking about trying that for quite a while...but just always end up changing the plans and staying at the GF ...Do you prefer AK during your BC or GF stay?? Last year we finally did a split....CR/GF..the transition was very easy..especially since they share the same IPO.....lol...but really would like to see what staying at both sides of the world in one trip is like....

Same split just the other way around... Too funny.

Last year we split with BW and we never have good luck with buses there so we went to AK while at GF and it was pretty good. We didn't wait too long for a bus and got there in no time. We only stayed at BC once and that was back in 2012 so can't really remember how long it took to get there.

We were only doing BC and just recently made it a split. Can't stay away from the Grand.

Hey GF groupies! Gorgeous spring-like weather here.... (sorry to all you folks who are still snowbound..) My birthday tomorrow and I wouldn't want the weather to be anything else...even as much as I like snow! Sure would be nice to celebrate it at least once at WDW but it's about the most expensive time to go, so I just dream of it!
Re: stashes of GF chocolates, I have 5 more. Even tho we are not staying there next month, I just may have to twist the arm of a CM I know to get some from a Mousekeeper!
