Favourite Mexico vacation destination?

Hi there,

Just looking for some advice on where to go for an all inclusive Mexico vacation. There are so many options I’d like to know why you love a particular resort or destination. It will just be my husband and I if that makes a difference to your recommendation. Thanks for the help!

Best trip ever.
We swam with Sea Turtles
Swam in a underground water cave
Visited Tulum Mayan Ruins / shopped at the marketplace
Had a picnic in the Jungle with all sorts of animals surrounding us.
Hotel was great

My favorite all inclusive in Mexico is Secrets marona beach. We’ve been to several in Mexico, Jamaica, and DR.

I am not a huge fan of Mexico for certain reasons but I did see something about Cozumel and crocodile close to beach resort. Maybe look it up and avoid that place. Likely the resorts won’t publicize it. Also I have first hand information that resorts are able to remove negative reviews on tripadvisor. So you can’t really trust what is posted on reviews. We continue to visit Disney world instead.

It really depends on your price point, must haves, a good beach, etc. We need more info from you to make recommendations.
I have only been to Moon Palace The Grand, The Fives Beach Resort, and going to Hyatt Vivid Grand Island in March.

We prefer Pacific Coast (beautiful sunsets) and have been to both Cabo (San Jose del, and San Lucas) and Puerto Vallarta twice. We're not as much of an all-inclusive resort type because we love exploring and dining out, but several of the properties we have stayed at have all-inclusive options.

Probably our favourite for a chill vacation was Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach. Beautiful property and not too far to Cabo San Lucas for activities. The Vidanta Grand Mayan chain has some great properties too (we stayed there in San Jose del Cabo). These are timeshare resorts, so much more room than a standard hotel, just be firm in saying no to any presentations.
