Rorey, I resisted the temptation yesterday when I was food shopping. I walked really slowly past the Tastykake display and finally turned my head away. I think if they had the chocolate tandykakes I would have caved and bought them. I love Tastykakes!!

Thanks! I would prefer to not see scaffolding outside our room, but if we do we're still at BC. Not a huge deal to us. I just wanted to know what to expect. I'm so happy just to have a room booked at BC. It took weeks of checking every day before something opened up for our dates. I can't believe it is coming up so soon!

I just got back today from our stay at the YC. The only work going on at the BC was a few men on a lift by front entrance painting the exterior. The YC now has scaffolding up on about the first 5 rooms from the lobby facing SAB. Today they were painting the baseboards in the hallways before i checked out. I have a pic of the outside work i'll post tomorrow when i get time.

I also found tasty cakes this week at my Wal-mart, but before I buy them I wanted to make sure that you said the peanut butter ones were your favorite, right? They only have a few types and I think that was one of them, so I wanted to taste your favorite first.


I am so excited that we are going to hopefully see you in December! We will be there Dec.12-14, as DVC owners!!!! Had to down grade to studio but we will still be there to celebrate Joeseph's birthday early! We all can't wait to see you!!

I am overjoyed with joy for you!!!

Charlie and Joeseph also are excited saying, "Thank God!"

I finally caught up on this thread, just love, love, love it!!!!!!!!

1st question of many to come, I read that when flying with a bag of cereal to poke a hole in it. Does anyone know if this is also true for a regular box of cereal too? I'm planning on taking a suitecase full of cereal, snacks & stuff that we will bring down but won't come back with us, so that I have an empty suitcase for all the disney merchandise my dd will get (& some of mine too!!). I'm also thinking of bringing plastic bowls with us. I know the villa's come with paper bowls, but how sturdy are paper?

We have taken a bag of cereal Malt O Meal and had to poke a small hole in it or it will explode. Mini wheats in your suit case is no fun. We have also taken the small individual boxes of cereal and have not poked holes in them and hey have been fine. We always take a smaller suitcase full of snacks and then use that for the stuff we bought. Good luck

Hey pals ... I'm back from the cruise and the medical appointments before the cruise.

Here's what's happening:

Got a good report from kidney doctor.

Mayo Clinic ... they found a "suspicious area" and I had to have a biopsy on Friday (day before the cruise). So, I was on the Disney Magic for 7 nights not knowing whether the cancer had returned. I still managed to have a ball and enjoyed the cruise. Bob and I read, slept, swam, got suntan, ate way too much and relaxed big time. On Friday we had a perfect day at Castaway Cay!!!! I was on my floaty in the ocean most of the day. Was suppose to hear from my surgeon at home on Saturday afternoon when we returned from the cruise but didn't get the call.

Went to work Sunday and met some great disers!!! No call from surgeon at home.

Today at the Beach Club, Bob called and left me a message saying there was a message on the answering machine at home from the surgeon to call her. I called from the Beach Club and she was with a patient and then had to go into surgery. I left the surgeon the phone number in the back office and alerted the back office CMs that hopefully the surgeon would be calling for me. She called at 1:30 with the news that the biopsy came back benign. What a relief. I cried happy tears and spent the rest of the day in the lobby with the biggest smile ever on my face. She said "see you in six months".

Thanks to everyone for all your support this year and your prayers. There aren't words to really express how much you have meant to me and how much you have helped!!!!!

Can not express to you how happy I am again about this news!!!!

i knew it would have to be good news for you!!! So very happy.
Sounds like you and Bob had a much needed fun and restful trip.

Heather - congrats on the DVC ownership. I would like to convince DH one day that we really NEED to become members. Until then, I'll just have to keep reminding him how much each trip costs us!!!

It's harder and harder to keep focused here at work, all I want to do is hop on a plane and head "home". Next May/June can't get here soon enough.
