Thanks Deb. Hope to see you again before too long. We can chat and I'll catch you up on my crazy year! Isn't that Princess Lily the cutest???? I'm heading out to visit Jeanne and Lily in early December. Jeanne sends me pictures regularly and I can't believe how she changes so quickly.

Princess Lily is the cutest! They do grow too fast. I'm sure she'll be real big by Dec. We just got our flights today for Disney for April!!! so excited  but unfortunately we won't be at BC. :(

I don't think you need to send them. Both times when I stayed CL, I made our dining reservations myself (no one touches my ADRs!), but when we checked in, they had the list of our reservations in our info packet.

Anyone have a different experience?

That's exactly right Dee!!
I'm waiting for a new installment of the TR.
I get to make a new ticker tonight!!! We are going for April vacation. I didn't think I was gonna get any flights less than $300 one way. but I saw on transportation board- that flying out of Hartford was way cheaper than Prov. for some strange reason and they had more flights still available. I paid $99 down $156 home!!!! Isn't that awesome for that week???

Hey pals ... I'm back from the cruise and the medical appointments before the cruise.

Here's what's happening:

Got a good report from kidney doctor.

Mayo Clinic ... they found a "suspicious area" and I had to have a biopsy on Friday (day before the cruise). So, I was on the Disney Magic for 7 nights not knowing whether the cancer had returned. I still managed to have a ball and enjoyed the cruise. Bob and I read, slept, swam, got suntan, ate way too much and relaxed big time. On Friday we had a perfect day at Castaway Cay!!!! I was on my floaty in the ocean most of the day. Was suppose to hear from my surgeon at home on Saturday afternoon when we returned from the cruise but didn't get the call.

Went to work Sunday and met some great disers!!! No call from surgeon at home.

Today at the Beach Club, Bob called and left me a message saying there was a message on the answering machine at home from the surgeon to call her. I called from the Beach Club and she was with a patient and then had to go into surgery. I left the surgeon the phone number in the back office and alerted the back office CMs that hopefully the surgeon would be calling for me. She called at 1:30 with the news that the biopsy came back benign. What a relief. I cried happy tears and spent the rest of the day in the lobby with the biggest smile ever on my face. She said "see you in six months".

Thanks to everyone for all your support this year and your prayers. There aren't words to really express how much you have meant to me and how much you have helped!!!!!

YAAAAAAAAY!!!!!

So happy for you Teena!! That is just the best news! All of your DIS friends prayers were answered.

I'm so thrilled you were able to enjoy your cruise time with Bob! I didn't know you were back yet. So happy to hear everything taking a turn for the better!

I'll send out my thank you package this week. Just waiting until you got home since I didn't think they would leave it at an empty home!!

Only 60 days as of today before my conference trip down. Hope we can catch up then! Can you believe I'm stuck at POP again? UGH!!!

Jay

Deb- congrats on booking your airfare! Woo-Hoo!

Uploaded the next set of pictures for my TR, so I'll hopefully get that done tomorrow. Today, I am busy putting off what I really need to do (updating the middle school parents group database) so I have been spending more time here than normal avoiding the work!

Speaking of that cutie, Princess Lily- here is the smile you get from her when you tell her Nanny got a good report from her doctors:

I have a quick question. During our short stay at we plan on going to Cape May for dinner on Dec.13 it is a Tues. night.

One of the main reason i want to go is because I want crab legs, mussels and clams ok, but love crab

Will I miss out? Because on the Disney site it says Sunday and Friday, is that true? Or do theyhave crab legs every night?

also what about fried shrimp? The only seafood my hubby eats

Oh No! I thought that they had the fried shrimp and calamari everyday. UGH! I might have to change our reservation to another night. DS wants the calamari the most but also loves fried shrimp. We were going to go for his birthday meal. Maybe I should change it to something else. Are the ones in bold served everyday?

Yes, the ones in bold are served every day. I just edited my original post. The items following the AND are the daily items

The above info was posted yesterday.

I'm not sure if there has been a more recent BB clock than this which runs throughout the end of 2011:

bouncebackclock.jpg

The remaining dates are Oct 23-29, Nov 13-19, Nov 27-30, Dec 1-3, Dec 11-17

When we were at the Boardwalk (right before our BC stay) at the end of August, there was a BB offer for 2012 and it was free dining only. Like previous posters, we did not see a BB offer in our BC room.

Can't you do something with your conference coordinator so you can stay where you belong!!!!!!!!!!!

Teena - Yay! Congrats on getting some seriously good news, AND for enjoying your cruise adventure!:goodvibes

Dee - Seriously, no more cute Lily baby pics, you all are sending my biological clock into overdrive here!!!:lmao:

Also, to those who suggested I send a letter detailing our experience to YC and Disney, thank you. I had a very good call yesterday with a gentelman from WDW (who I can't remember the name of because he called me while I was driving home and couldn't write it down :) ) who actually took the time to go through the whole thing, and I felt better knowing afterwards that other guests would not experience the same response we did, which made me feel like I might have done a good thing by writing it!:goodvibes I made sure to tell him a few times how wonderful the CL CMs were, through all of it, they DID try. ;)

Anyway, all that AND this morning I saw the new 35% off online room promo for Deluxe resorts and managed to knock 700 dollars off our super secret (yes Dee, still a secret so far.... 7 days and counting:rotfl2:) Valentines weekend getaway. :dance3:

Now we just need to figure out how to get back to the YC before 2013...:lmao:

Great job Jen. It does matter to know that Disney cares......

And about your trip. You know there is a secret office pool betting on which days the cat :cat: gets let out of the bag. I got my money on December 17th!

Hi All! My husband and I will be returning to Disney next month to celebrate our anniversary. We are currently booked in a YC waterview room but I've been stalking reservations for months now hoping a YC Club Level room opens up. As of yet...nothing! There is however a waterview CL room open at the BC. Should I switch or leave as is?

I am one of those people who LOVE spending time out on the balcony reading or people watching. So for me I would be disappointed if I did not receive a full balcony. And I know there are no guarantees - so is it worth the gamble?

Wow, you have a lot more faith in me than I thoght!:lmao:

How about this, whoever is closest gets a Disney Pin, but if I win, you all have to tell me how awesome a wife I am!:rotfl2:

I would have to defer with someone who has much more knoweldge, but I THINK CL rooms at both resorts have Full Balconies, which might solve your problem if you switch to BC and want CL.

Does anyone know for certain?:goodvibes

I don't know MickeyT... I've heard Jen likes to hit the mulled wine a little early at Thanksgiving so I think the :cat: will be out of the bag way before then!

There are definitely BC CL rooms that do not have the full balcony. If club level is important to you, though, I would switch and put full balcony as your only request on the room, and if they can't accommodate you immediately when you get there, hopefully a room will come available quickly.

Unfortunately, not all of the CL rooms at the Beach Club have full balconies. But a majority of the Waterview CL rooms do.

According to my research, 3 of 26 rooms in this category do not have a full balcony. This is a couple of years old, but I don't think any of the room view categories have changed.

If you are looking for odds, 88% of the BC water view rooms have full balconies- worth the gamble to you? I would take that risk.
