2011 DISers Halloween Party Dates & Costumes List

We're also from Saskatchewan! Too bad we're just going to miss you, we fly on at noon on the 7th so we're going to the party on the 3rd.

I saw you on another page! That is too bad we will miss at the parties but we are there from Sept 30-Oct 8. I figured the MHP on the night before we leave will be an awesome way to close out our trip. Hope you enjoy your Disney vacation. Looks like great Saskatchewaners think alike! :)

I am taking my best friend to DL one weekend in Oct to celebrate her 50th birthday but when I mentioned costumes she wasn't thrilled, though she can't wait to see DL w/Halloween decor. She wants to wear a t that says, "This is my costume." My niece will also be with us and celebrating her 21st birthday. Any suggestions for costume ideas that my friend would be willing to do, maybe something that all 3 of us are doing in common?

The 25th Party is, so far, is the winner for most attended DIS'er

A little worried about this since we wanted it to not be too crowded... BUT, if I have to share the parks with others, glad it's a bunch of dis'ers. :)

candygirlIRE, Canadian DISNut and Belle Ella, have added you guys to the 10/3 MHP

So rosie2283, should I put you down for the 10/7 MHP?

We bought our tickets for the September 30th Halloween Party! We are thinking of going as a family of "Angry Birds"! Hoping for no wind so we can see the Halloween Firework display!

We are definitely in for 4 of us on 10/3/11. I will probably use my Peter Pan costume from last year. I am more of the Peter Pan from "Hook" than the young/skinny one from the ride ;) My daughter might be Tinker Bell, but we also might do the BBB and let her just pick a princess that afternoon.

I have just bought us tickets for 10/3/11. We will have been on the MR cruise till the Sunday and are staying in Dana Point for a few more days. We will be wearing our pirate costumes bought for pirate night on board. Looking forward to it. Our 4 year old DD knows nothing about any of the trips but keeps asking when she can go to DL again.

Just thought of the crazy idea of taking a weekend trip down to DL for the Halloween party. Still have to bring it up to the DBF, but I just got SO excited that I HAD to tell someone. It's fairly plausible, but I'm going to have to work hard to pull it off. We're already planning a pretty long (at least in terms of broke college students) DLR trip from Sept 13-17 so doing Sept 30 Halloween Party MIGHT be a stretch, but it may cause us to conscientiously spend instead of spending like crazy on the first DLR trip if we decide to do it. After class on Friday (or maybe skip class on Friday? xD) we would drive down to DLR for the Halloween party, stay the night at a local hotel, go to Univ the following day, and drive home after Univ (Univ's technically free since that'll be our last day from the 5 day thing at Costco for $59). Good plan yes??? Man, I think I'm getting addicted to Disney.

Update: we figured out our costumes. My husband and I are going as Ravenclaw students from Harry Potter.

Sounds wonderfully awesome! I was thinking DBF and I would do that, but we figured that since we're doing Disney, we should dress Disney. Ravenclaw students would be our backup plan in case we don't have time to make costumes.

We have tickets for the Oct. 7th party (my birthday:banana:) There will be 7 of us.

My mom, DD (19), DD's boyfriend (20), younger DD's friend and I don't know what we are going as yet.

DD (16) is going as Snow White
DS (9) is going as Indiana Jones

Can't wait!:banana::banana:

As expected, my costumes have slightly changed. For the September 30th party, I will go as a ghost bride and for the October 11th party as a princess.

Please remove me from the front page, our family will be unable to go on this trip. :sad1:

We still can't decide when we are doing the Halloween Party... Do you need to have a regular admission ticket or does the MHP ticket cover admission to the party totally?

If you don't need a separate ticket, then our date will probably be Monday the 3rd. If you DO then probably Oct 7tj. As for costumes, my little group (me, hubby, 5 yr old boys) it's either Indiana Jones or Star Wars. But that might change now that they are obsessed with the Lego PotC game... My 7 yr old nephew is going to be the Mad Hatter. I'm trying to convince his mom n dad to dress up.

I am so sad! Hopefully it will turn out to be a better time when you do go.

Mickey's Halloween Party is a a separately ticketed event and you need a special party ticket for this. It is not included in your normal ticket. People holding a ticket for Mickey's Halloween Party can enter the park at 4 PM on Fridays or 3 PM on Tuesdays.
