2011 DISers Halloween Party Dates & Costumes List

Going on 10/25 as Miss Piggy, Kermit, Gonzo and......Han Solo (we couldn't convince our 5 yo to go with the Muppets theme).

We are doing the Muppets on 11/1 Kermit, Miss Peggy and Fozzie Bear and the Cheshire Cat. My 10 year old wouldn't do the Muppet theme. My daughter loves everything Kermit and was him last year for Halloween so she is going to use that costume again.

We'll be there October 18th. My daughter and I will have matching Mickey bling halloween shirts and my husband and son will have matching Mickey glow in the dark shirts, the kids feel "too old" to dress up for halloween but didnt object to matching shirts....I'll take what I can get from them at this point, LOL

Hubby and I will be there on Oct. 21. So excited! It will be our first Halloween party! Can't wait!

As for costumes, they have yet to be determined. But we are going to dress-up!! (Hubby's idea....I couldn't believe it! )

Is it really lame that I want to go as Rapunzel even though my daughter has already picked that one too?

DH is still undecided but I don't think we'll be doing a theme since he doesn't want to be a prince of any kind and I can't resist the opportunity to be a princess (or Tinkerbelle) at the one Halloween party where I won't be made fun of for doing it!

Thanks for all you hard work on this. I can't believe how this is creeping up on me. Today it is exactly one month until we leave on our vacation and 5 weeks until my first Halloween party.

OMG, 3 weeks until Halloween Time starts on September 16. 5 weeks until the first MHP. I have got to start thinking of a costume.

I wouldn't worry too much about crowd levels. October 3 is on a Monday and is early in the month. I doubt the 3rd will sell out.

We are DVC members and love to stay at the GCH. I have already gone twice this summer and have the October vacation and a Christmas vacation to look forward. After that, I have run out of points and, unless I "borrow" points from my 2012 year, I won't have another Disney vacation until next summer! The late winter and spring months are going to be torture.

Talk about creeping up. I haven't even starting thinking about a costume yet! I had better soon. Once I choose, I'm heading to thrift shops (we have lots here) to see what I can find.
