Randy - never fear - all will be included in the Navigator you will get with your buttons. However since I know we have lots of planners in this group here is the run down. Also once the navigator is finished I will save it as a word document for anyone who wants to print it out ahead of time.

Saturday 10/21 - 3pm DIS meet at the Solarium in the Beach Club. At this meet you can pick up your button packets, kids gifts, and those of us in the circle journal exchange will also do our swap. We have a few other surprises as well.

Sunday 10/22 - if you have signed up for the DIS party bus we are meeting outside the main enterance of Beach club at 8:30. Please be prompt so the bus can leave on time.

Sunday 10/22 - DCL terminal. Amy is brining the DIS meet sign so look for the DIS group over by the sofa's. A great time to gather and chat before boarding.

Sunday 10/22 - Deck 10 mid-ship (above the Goofy pool) at 3pm. We will be on the same side as the port (not to be confused by the port side). :) If it is raining go to deck 9 same location. At this meet you can pick up your button packets and kid gifts and maybe a few other surprises.

Monday 10/23 - the group has agreed to meet up at the far end of the family beach. So if you want to sit and play among other DISers head down there.

Monday 10/23 - if you signed up for the DIS banana boats today is the day. Ladies boat leaves at 1 pm, mens at 1:30 pm

Tuesday 10/24 - Julie's ladies meet at 9:30 pm up on deck 9 by the adult pool!

Tuesday 10/24 - Matt's guys meet at 9:30 pm in Diversions

Wednesday 10/25 - the group has agreed to meet up at the far end of the family beach. So if you want to sit and play among other DISers head down there.

Thursday 10/26 - for those taking the party bus back to Beach Club. Meet up in the Promonade Lounge after breakfast.

Thursday 10/26 - for those attending MNSSHP there will be a short DIS meet at 6:30 pm at the Liberty Bell. This is right before the party starts at 7 pm.

Friday 10/27 - for those who signed up ahead of time we will meet at the Contemporary dock at 8:00 pm for the Wishes fireworks cruise.

Saturday 10/28 - not a DIS meet but a very special DIS day as Matt & Julie exchange wedding vows.

No, I corrected a typo... No one is going to believe me though.

:grouphug: If that is the case I apologize, but I really don't remember seeing that part when I quoted you.

How much do you tip at Palo? The last time I tipped $20 for the two of us. This time there will be four in our party. :confused3

There must be someone out there that has been to Palo and left a tip. How musch are people tipping at Palo? Anyone?

Oy, that really sucks. Maybe you should put Diana on the case. She seems to get quick results. (Probably her threats to kick-box 'em into submission.

I may just have to do that - today they are giving us a new story and I am ready to cancel the order and find another vendor to do it in the next 2 weeks. They are in the NY/NJ area - anyone want to play piley on?

Sorry, we've never done Palo.

When we last did Palo dinner on our own I believe we tipped $20. We don't do any drinks so the $20 was just on the meal itself. I believe when we did brunch we tipped $10 for the two of us (it was a big group in the private room so the server got about $70-80 total).

We based our tips on what a similar meal would cost us at home and tip at the 20% rate.

It depends on whether I have a drink or not. And how the service was and the meal etc............

For a party of 4, I would start at around $50.00?

My guess for today is For the Love of the Game.

Speaking of which--NY/Detroit fans interested in a little wager for fun? Something silly like what the mayors do when teams play each other?

So would I get mother of the year if I give my family Julia's birthday cake for breakfast? Emma suggested it and Bruce was all to happy to chime in. Now they are all saying Cake Cake Cake. I don't think I'll win this battle, and it is a special day, plus cake has some nutritional value. :scratchin

Anyone ever see that Bill Cosby routine--Dad is great, he gives us chocolate cake. :rotfl: That's my DH. :sad2:

I LOVE that line!!!

WOW! That was quick! :thumbsup2 I didn't know what the navigator that you were putting together was all about. Sorry if I jumped the gun a little. And yes. My DW is one that likes to plan the heck out of everything. Sometimes to the point of sucking all right out. (Don't tell her I said that :rolleyes1 ) So this will definitely help a lot.

Looking forward to my first SAD with my fellow DIS'ers!(SAD=Sail Away Drink :drinking1 )

Many thanks to the obviously "in-the-know" Tag Fairy! ::yes:: The words are mine, but the color-job is courtesy of The TF! I feel so special now! And loved!

From my very own fingers: Count me in on Julie's party! :woohoo: (Ummmm, unless, of course, my Tigers manage to make it into the Fall Classic, and there's a game that night - then I'll be "where the boys are"... Sorry!, and no offense!!!)

LOL Karen I'm the sports fan in our home so while Matt enjoys a good beverage he could care less if sports are on the TV.

You may have seen Mary refer to the DIS Navigator. This is exactly what you are describing and I'm almost positive she spent the weekend working on it, so it will be finished very shortly! I do believe that she posts it on the website, but she also has copies for everyone available at the DIS meet at BCV and also the one on the ship!

I have seen the preview copy and it looks great. :thumbsup2
