I'm trying but work really gets in the way of my internet time.
Plus I'll be gone till tommorrow night since Nick & I leave in a little bit for his class camping trip. So I won't be back on till after dinner tommorrow.

Uh-oh, you're gonna be WAY behind!!! Darn that life stuff getting in the way of the DIS!!!

We have those stickers. They are the foamy stickers, right??? I buy the girls them, and dump them out into a large ziploc too. Then, I just give them a handful or so, to make what they call "sticky pictures". It's a great craft and they have a blast doing it.

They make really cute ones now --- they are popular around here. We have the Dora ones which are always a hit. I haven't seen many Disney ones -- have you?

Well It's supposed to get down in the 40's tonight so hopefully I don't turn into a popsicle in my sleeping bag. Hopefully this little camping trip goes well.

Good Morning DisSers

31d 9h 9m 0s ota till we be cruising...

Karen and I had an opportunity to sneak down for a weekend trip so we'll be airborn in just over 12 hours. Then we have to come back till October - .

Since Karen and I will be out of town this weekend and I see there are at least TWO even numbered days in that time frame - rest assured. I'm taking the laptop and will be updating the pic on Friday and Sunday. To compensate for the black hole that was the last clue, I will tell you this....

They make really cute ones now --- they are popular around here. We have the Dora ones which are always a hit. I haven't seen many Disney ones -- have you?

We haven't seen any Disney ones, but we have seen princess-type ones that the girls like. We have Dora too. I usually just get a couple of tubs when they are on sale at Michaels and I just mix them all into one bag. The girls just love it. The only suggestion that I have is to have a cup/bowl handy for the white sticker backs, otherwise you have these little white pieces of paper everywhere.

Double sleeping bags, Stacy! And, they have these feet warmer things at Walmart that you can toss into the bottom of your sleeping bag to help make you toasty.

And, sleep with a hat on -- it's suppose to help a lot. At least that's what Cameron was told when he camped out in his first Boy Scout campout in the below zero temps.

We do that same thing with the backs. Or we use the lid, but they don't hold much.

This wasn't a USPS error, but once we got an envelope with those "credit card convenience checks" in them.....I think it was from the AOL VISA we used to have.....well, in the SAME envelope as mine were SOMEONE ELSE'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously. There were 3 or 4 checks based on MY account and 3 or 4 based on SOMEONE ELSE'S!!!

The envelope was sealed when it got here, so it was definitely an AOL VISA error!!!!

We once received someone else's credit card bill in the envelope with our bill. As I recall, the second page of our bill was missing, and we received the second page of someone else's bill instead. DH called the company and had them cancel the old card and send us a new one because we didn't know where our page had ended up!!

Ok, I have to share this on this thread too, because you guys are all the voices of reason.....is this odd to you? Or am I just too practical????

Ok, I thought I saw bizarre gift registries for the last wedding we went to, but this one is just odd.

My nephew (26yrs old) is getting married in December (we'll be at WDW.)
They registered at Sears and Target.
Their Sears registry includes towels, bathroom stuff and a bunch of stuff from the automotive department (motorcycle/ATV jack, tools, foam mats for the floor, etc) Their Target registry includes some household stuff AND candy corn (about 12 bags in different flavors,) board games, a box of Pamprin, and an ant farm.

I told Mike I might just get them 10 bags of candy corn and call it done!!

Well I want one for me and am sad that they are sold out already all over (I've been to target and Matt's been to walmart (alone) and another target). I also want one for my sister as part of her wedding party gift. We both love Elmo and collect them so I wanted to give this to her holding a spa certificate. I refuse to pay the ebay price though. I'm thinking that there should be more shipments that come out before the wedding, if not then Christmas. I didn't think they would be hot because the last one "Elmo Knows your Name" was not (Yes, I have him too).

Our friends in NC are going to look for us tonight too.

I went back to Amazon.com today and they are sold out too. It looks like I missed my opportunity to get rich quick
