Just an update on Ken's aunt and uncle. His aunt has been moved to a rehab hospital, and his uncle is out of ICU. They expect to be able to move him to the same rehab hospital in a few days, and the two of them will be able to share the same room.

No definite news about Tigger yet, but what the vet suspects doesn't sound too good. He drew some fluid out of her and has sent it off to a lab. Hopefully we should hear something tomorrow. We are preparing ourselves for the worst. :sad1:

I'm glad to hear things are progressing for Ken's aunt & uncle. pixiedust: for continued recovery.

I hope you get some good news about Tigger pixiedust:

Thanks for the link Robin! I can't believe it but again I will be out of town for a local DIS meet :( I'll have to catch up with everyone another time.
One of these days... At least we'll have an opportunity for a floating meet. Of course there's always the possibility that our paths will cross "like ships in the night" ;), but I'm not planning on that happening. And I'm sure there will be at least one more DFW meet before we cruise so we can try again then.

Ok we just had a Disney Magic moment. Mark and I were invited to meet the Captain on the bridge on Friday as we sail away from Castaway Cay! I know one of the other DIS families were invited as well. We are very excited!
Wow, what an extra special magical trip this has turned out to be for y'all. After seeing the travel channel show about DCL I've wanted to check out the bridge. Can't wait to hear about your experience up there.

Earlier I posted that my DD Dana has a boyfriend in the Air Force. Please keep him in your prayers. We just received word that he is being sent to Iraq in about 3 weeks. This is especially hard for Dana because he was going to meet her in WDW next month while she's doing her internship. As you can imagine, she is heartbroken. The tears are coming into MY eyes as I am typing this. This is his second trip to Iraq, and he is going to a more dangerous area this time. His name is Thomas.
We'll definitely keep Thomas in our thoughts and prayers that he stays safe while keeping us safe.

I had no idea. :cool1: I wonder, does Hallmark make a card for this "holiday". ;) Too bad I don't have anyone ready for this challenge or I'd join in with Diana & Amy. Maybe next summer. It occured to me this morning, that come August I will have 4 in diapers  , come January, I will have 5 little ones in diapers  unless someone starts showing some signs of readiness.

I did a quick search and found that next week, live help is available from child experts:

June is Potty Training Awareness Month
More than 4 million parents are expected to begin potty training this year, and undoubtedly would welcome any advice to make the transition process easier. To celebrate June as Potty Training Awareness Month, during June 6-10 from 9am-5pm ET, parents can call the potty training "Totline" at 1-877-4BIG-KID and speak directly to one of the Potty Training Partners, a panel of pediatricians, child psychologists and parenting experts. Parents are able to ask these experts any of their potty training questions with the comfort of knowing they're getting help from someone who understands how frustrating the process can be. In addition, the first 10,000 callers to the Totline in June will receive a newly developed, comprehensive potty training guide. The Pull-Ups Way to Go Success Guide has flexible advice to help parents customize their approach to their particular child. The Potty Training Partners are also sharing their top 10 tips for potty training on the road--with smart solutions to keep potty training on track when families head out on vacation this summer. Also, don't forget to consider these tips for training a toddler in daycare.

For real? :lmao:

I didn't want to cast my sunshine on Amy's rain cloud, but potty training here has been VERY successful. Before I had even seen that Amy was starting Maddie, I had decided on Saturday that was Emma's last day with diapers. I told her I was tired of changing her and she's a big girl and that's it, she's done. Well, since Sunday, she's had 3 accidents and 2 of them were on Sunday! One was yesterday, but I'm not really counting that since we were at Six Flags and I didn't ask her if she had to go and didn't make her go (she had a pull up on, the only time I let her wear them is when we go out for a long time) She's woken up dry every morning since Sunday!!

Julia on the other hand, while she's very interested in what Emma's doing, and loves to flush, is totally terrified of actually sitting on it.

Emma's big thing is privacy. Emma needs privacy, she tells me. Alrighty. She even yelled at the dog today--Penny, Emma needs privacy. The dog just want to drink out of the toilet. :lmao: Amy, have you tried privacy? :lmao:
