On a sad note, I took our cat Tigger to the vet today. Tigger had been getting more Pooh shaped for a while and I thought it was just that she (yes, Tigger's a girl) was getting fat in her old age. Finally, I realized that it was not just normal, because her belly felt very hard and she had been spayed a long time ago. The vet said something is definitely wrong, and I left her there overnight for tests. He said it could possibly be a tumor or just fluid that's accumulated.

And in happier news, Ken's aunt is out of intensive care and should make a full recovery. His uncle, as of Sunday, was still in ICU. Thanks for all the prayers and PD for the two of them.

Here's my problem. It isn't Disney. I walk around every time I'm there and look at every piece of chipped paint and every miserable ride operator and say---this isn't Disney. I need to just be thankful we have something like that here so we can have fun!! I'm a theme park snob. There I've admitted it.

You're so right. In comparison to Disney parks, all others just seem so, I don't know, dirty and run down. They may not be, but they sure look that way when you know how it can be. We're theme park snobs around here, too.

But have you noticed that Disney isn't quite as pristine as it used to be? What I mean is the last few times we were there we actually saw scaffolding where they were working, and they were working during park hours. (They used to "hide" the fact that things were being repaired and do it at night when no one was around.)

Anyone see Little Women on stage? David and I have season tickets to the Dallas Summer Musicals and that's tonight's show. I'm just curious how they turned it into a musical. I guess we'll find out in about 11 hours.

Thank you all for the warm anniversary wishes!! It is our 20th!!!
My DH got me the most wonderful, personal anniversary gift - two stainless steel palm trees for our backyard here in Kansas!
I am overwhelmed! I have always loved palm trees, and have even been known to hug them on occasion. (...wait, maybe I should not say that until you get to know us better...) I will try to post a picture of them after they are installed!

Also, I REALLY hope we get to meet (at least introduce ourselves) those of you going to the WDW meet on Saturday!!! I just can't wait!!!

All right, I have been meaning to ask, How do you all get those cute pics in your signature? I know they have to be done at a website, but which one? I want to adxd a pic of my girls. Thanks!

Most people use photobucket.com. You upload your pic to there and then you click on "generate img and html code" and they give you the line to cut and paste in your signature. It's really easy, and I've done a terrible job explaining it. If you go there and can't figure out how to do it, just ask, I'm sure someone can explain it better than I just did!

Marla - they sounds awesome!! I know what you mean about palm trees. When I first moved here, I just loved to drive down the street to see all the palm trees. Now, I can't believe how many different types of palms there are.
