Be nice to yourself, Lynda!

Oh, get off it, Min...After 40 years I have the right to refer to myself any ol' way I want...

I just came back from 7 days at sea with other...what? DPs? Chair jockeys? too much to type... Crip is ok for me, not for you, according to the latest in PC...same as if I refer to my bathing-suited self as a beached whale...Not nice coming from someone else....

I give myself cruises...how better to be nice to me?

Lynda....we need a cruise report from you and Cash. You always have some great tales to tell!!!!

Thanks Linda --- the pins and whatever DCL gives us is probably all we'll have. I do have a stripped top that makes me feel like a pirate everytime I wear it so maybe I'll save it for that night!

:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Glad I have this thread to keep me excited --- I'm at the verge of getting overwhelmed --- you know the holiday thing, so much to do, then thinking "What were we thinking spending so much money on vacation?" ---- I know it's going to be great and worth every cent especially now!!!! :earsgirl:

I'll be looking forward to it if I can get out of bed in time --- I'll try to dress and not show up in my jammies --- but I can't promise much more!!!!

Better to be the "shirts" than the "skins" :earseek:

And I , for one, am more offended that Lynda called me a Beaver.....than herself a crip!

I can see that we need two walking groups. One for the roosters and one for Those Who Arise at a Sane Hour. 8:30 maybe, depends on what happens the night before.

Now we are getting more reasonable. Part of Vacation is SLEEPING IN. I get up early every morning to go to work and I LOVE to sleep in. (Just ask my family)

Hey Jim (scuba) - where are you in Florida again? We may just have a favor to ask of you.

We are in Daytona Beach. About 60 minutes from both Orlando and the Cape.

I was in Orlando yesterday for meetings. It was my first road trip with satellite radio. What a trip. We may be finding that under my Christmas tree. A gift from me to me.

Actually, it would be for the family. I want to make sure they are comfortable and entertained when I drive them to all the gymnastics meets.

I was laughing so hard about the "convention, shirt group". Yep, that's going to be us!!! On our first cruise, when GaRry made us shirts, and Joe and Joanne got us lanyards, I had lots of people asking me about our group. Lots of people thought it was really cool.

And the joke about swimming with the sharks? I told that here in the office, and almost killed my coworker. Should have warned him first!

Hope Jim doesn't mind me answering for him. They are in the Daytona beach area. :)

That's okay. I have two women in the house so I'm use to it.

No, but I thought if you were willing to pay in doubloons it might not be a bad time to start a collection with the most sought after one!!!!

Besides................I gotta pay off that cruise since my American Express bill came yesterday!!!!

Would that be one of those "M" Schools?

That won't be hard --- I'll just go to bed like the kids!!!! Seems like most of their clothes double as jammies about half the time!!! As long as it is soft and comfortable it works, and I don't care as long as they get bed at a decent time!!!

Linda

I don't remember what I wrote here when I first got back...It's taken me DAYS to recover from the salt air and eggs Benedict....Did I mention how I almost ended up staying in Nassau? or the thrill of the fall at Orient Beach? or how a 110# black water dog will probably make the top ten list of AFV drowning animal videos? or why HAL decided to make the running track the 10-dog poop deck? or how Cash the Wonder Dog made his mom proud in front of all those program-trained dogs and left the other home-schooled canines in the dust? I HATE repeating myself...

Anyway, we had lots of adventures and probably left the Osterdam in the nick of time.... Anyone going on the Jolly Roger Pirate Cruise in Antigua? or the Golden Eagle Catamaran in St. Maarten? DCL says they're not accessible but HAL made EVERYTHING accessible so I'm going to investigate why I have to pay full price for a DCL cruise and can go nowhere (was told NO DOGS allowed on Key West trolley) and yet was able to take any 'ol excursion on HAL and they made it happen...and THEN SOME...Let me tell you about the ceiling of the Waikiki bar at Orient Beach...Bet no other passenger saw it.....not the way I did, anyway...
What shall I tell?

Jim,

Got your pm and sent a reply - thanks!
