Morning all. Hope you had a nice St. Paddy's day. We went to Damon's before I took DD to Girl Scouts. All that green at Girl Scouts was right in the spirit of the holiday (LOL).

I'm going with DD and the troop to a theater up in Columbia tomorrow. The kids don't have school (not really sure why, some kind of professional day). But I should be in chat, just in case I don't get to post tomorrow.

Our temps really dropped last night! It was right at freezing this morning. Luckily that rain had stopped before the temps dropped, otherwise it would have been a mess!

DS is convinced that he's going to win us a Disney cruise off his boy scout pizza sale. So everyone send us some pixie dust. I think he has 5 entries (out of the thousands and thousands of pizza kits sold around the country  )I'm sure it's going to be us that wins! I'll take a cruise, anyway I can get it!

:sunny: Good Morning Everyone! Sending sunshine to those who have had icky weather! :sunny:

tdk lisa......Pixie Dust for DS!!! Have fun with the GS.

Have to go in to work for just a little while, then home to get the laundry caught up before I leave tomorrow. We aren't leaving till 5 p.m. Firday night, but I want to leave tomorrow open just in case I have one of those unexpected "emergencies" pop up like they always seem to do!

Love the new pictures that are up! Barb, what a great trip that must have been! Do they have Wedgewood in Ireland, too, or is that just England? My brother went there years ago and brought me some Wedgewood. Now I'd be more into the crystal......good thing I didn't know you were going......I'd been mailing you $$$$ to send me stuff :teeth:

Well, I'd better go head for the office.......

Have a great day!!!!!!

Stacey

Good morning everyone...
I'm finally back online with a new computer after a major crash! Whew......it's been tough finding all the old places over again without my bookmarks!!
275 days to go...seems like forever! Had two days up at the parks last Wed/Thursday... boy was it packed!! Guess all you northerners are on Spring Break already?? I had to get my Mickey fix and my PIN fix though. Next month we'll head up for the Flower and Garden show which is always nice.
I have way too much catching up to with this thread and I am still looking for a photo to submit for the web page.
Bought some new snorkle gear the other day which started us talking about the cruise, the islands and where we'd like to snorkle...besides Castaway Cay that is. Anybody know any good spots in St. Lucia or Antiqua??? Both are places that we've never been. Can't wait till the info comes out on excursions etc!!
Okay.. I'm rambling... just want to get back into the swing of things! Have a great day!

Good morning everyone, hope your St. Paddy's day was non-eventful. We know to stay off the roads here in NM. I spent almost the entire day Ebaying, they are having a listing special. Trying to get all my books, movies, etc. on there in two days! So far I have sold exactly one book. What will actually happen is I will have all these bags of books lying around. Oh well, easier to take to donate!

It was HOT here yesterday. I feel like it's time for the cooler already. Time to break out cooler clothes, anyway. DD got a lot of clothes yesterday that I bought off Ebay. Cutest tropical print capris, hope they still fit by December! Diana

Welcome back, Leslie. I just sent you a PM about Antigua. We'll be taking pins on the cruise, for sure. Diana

Good morning everyone. So Dancind, have you made your millions on ebay yet? How many cruises have you paid for? You are quite the queen. I looked you up and you are really really active and sell alot!

Weather suppose to be 70 today. Sorry for all you guys on the east coast. I was seeing those snowstorms on the news last night and it looks like you are getting hit pretty strong!

Hey, how many of you are going to Member Homecoming? I got another reminder from DVC in the mail yesterday. I just don't know how to justify a trip across the country and the expense when we are taking 13 of us on the cruise in December. Anyway, sure would be nice to know who's going and where you are staying.

Okay, I'm going to try to get some work done!

Linda

G'morning everyone. We finally have :sunny: :sunny: today :bounce: It's still cold, but bright.

Stacey, I have the number to Waterford Crystal if you want to call and order stuff. They charge 15% for shipping after taking off the tax. A dangerous thing to know :teeth: ::yes::

Linda, there's a difference between listing a lot and selling a lot. Lately, I've been doing more of the former. If the money only had to pay for cruising, I'd be in good shape though!

DVC Homecoming is not in the cards for us. TMM, for one thing. And if I remember right, it's not during a school break. We usually break a little earlier than most from school here, around May 22 or so, and last year we got in a nice two weeks at WDW before the crowds really hit. This year DD has recital on May 29, so no early trip. It's every other year, maybe we can do that again in 2005. So many choices! We also want to go on a DCL Western cruise, an Alaska cruise, Hawaii, or just go to Cozumel or Roatan for a week. All the while visiting WDW, of course. Give us 10 years, maybe we'll get to do it all.

I'm always tempted when I see Waterford. My Mom had some, my Dad's ex-wife now has it. I'm always wanting to try and replace it. I think it was Lisford, that's a pattern, right?

I think the pattern you mean is Lismore. That is the world's most popular Waterford pattern. It is named after Lismore Castle in Co. Waterford. The pattern is also modeled after the details of the castle.
Wow, I actually learned and retained infromation from our trip. I guess I didn't drink as much as I thought I did  :teeth:

Welcome back to the thread PinDiva! Glad to hear you've recovered your computer.

Boy, Barb and Diane, I'm so impressed. I wouldn't know one kind of crystal from another, let alone have a clue about patterns. My wine glasses came from Target. Maybe some of it will rub off on me (Naw, probably not!).

Keep blowing that sunshine eastward. I'm looking for it!

That's it! Thanks, Jill. Lisa, I think if you own Waterford, you don't actually drink out of it. You store it in the china cabinet, and it looks very pretty. And then you drink out of your Target wine glasses. Diana

I agree on the Member Homecoming. I thought it was TMM for us also. Especially since we have to add air, rental car, and all the other stuff!

:rotfl: That is so true. I only have 2 glasses (I think) and they are Mickey ones. Most of mine is packed up waiting to be displayed once we move. I do use some of my bowls. I have a lot of Christmas ornaments too.
I think the wine glasses I am using came from Ikea, cheaper than Target ones :teeth:

Mark and I are going to Member Homecoming! We have a road trip planned for early May and just pushed it back. We'll be staying at OKW from the 23rd - 28th. Hoping to be able to book the 22nd as well in about a week.

We have Lismore as our pattern and you are right we have it on display more than for use. :D

Every year for Christmas I would give my mom a Waterford ornament. Then when I got married my godmother would give me one. When my mom died I inherited all those beautiful ornaments and now we do a small tree of just Waterford (with a few Beleek pieces as well) as a tribute to my mom.

Well, there you are...Cash and I will be leaving the 22 after 3 weeks of WDW and a cruise....

I wanted to do DVC but ended up doing a wholesaler vacation network thing instead....
Maybe after I sell the lot...I'll put it on the list:
paint house
new dishwasher
eradicate Lake Enders
trim trees
new truck
fix ceiling
replace upper windows
pay off c. cards

Not necessarily in that order

Mary, you must not have a cat! It does sound lovely. I have some pretty wonderful Radko blown glass ornaments, but they stay in their box at Christmas. Will probably put those on Ebay too, they aren't doing me any good, and we aren't planning on getting rid of the cat. Diana

Thanks for the phone number, jilljill...but I'll pass. I'm in enough trouble with all my other purchases as it is!!

I have Mickey wine glasses....they're plastic and we got them as a gift at the Poly!!!! :p We live big out here!

I didn't even have china for a long time, since I never had a "real" wedding (yes, we're legal...before a judge...remember, I wanted to do the Vow Renewal, but they were all booked up?) Anyway, I finally got a set of china, but it still isn't really fancy. Went to the Mikasa Outlet.

Laundry buzzed.....back later.
