Stacey, I thought I would offer. I need someone else to get in trouble with me. Especially since I just ordered another cel from the Las Vegas Disney Store.
The Disney Stores will no longer sell collectibles, the remaining 3 Gallery stores are having a big sale on the items they have left. I may have to call the 5th Ave store and order another one this week

Jilljill...I'm glad you reminded me....I have to go to the Disney Store in Las Vegas this weekend! Jay wouldn't let me buy anything, but hahahaha he won't be there!!!!!!
I hope they aren't all sold out of everything.

One of my friends that was going with me called this a.m. Her hubby's Grandma died and they're having the funeral over the weekend, so she can't go. I've been trying to reach my (other) friend at work to see if she wants to go. Her fiance is out of town for the weekend anyway, so she should. But I doubt if she will...she doesn't like the other gal that's going. It's like being back in Junior High again. Why can't we all just get along???
I may be forced to ask DD Megan to go. The ticket is paid for and all. But I'm still supposed to be mad at Megan and Pete. Actually, it was more Pete than Megan (am I making excuses?)

Sounds like you all have really nice Christmas trees. I have been so lazy the last couple of years. I put up a fiber optic tree with very few ornaments (my fav is the Disney Magic one) and I have a tree that looks real and has a bear clinging to the side of it.
Yourrooms onboard will probably look great, too. I just won't let anyone see mine. I may never find where I put the battery operated lights, anyway.

Stacey, remember me, the one who has no clue what a crystal pattern looks like. I'll keep you company on the plain decorations! My china came from my mom saving betty crocker points, and it's a whole whopping 4 piece setting. Even that stayed in the box till we moved into this house, which had a couple of built in glass fronted cabinets for china. Paper plates or corningware for me!

And no dustcatchers either. Although all the Tae Kwon Do and Pine Wood derby trophies are a pain to keep clean. Oh well, if you come visit me, don't look too closely in the corners!

I wish I could go with you - but too short notice. I don't think the ticket would work for me to fly from the east coast.

Stacey and Lisa, dont' worry out cabin will be rather plain too. I won't even have battery lights for it. Just because I have the stuff doesn't mean it gets used.

Hi everyone.

I was just updating my list for the brunch and Barb we are across the hall from each other. We are in Cabin 5024.
Diana we are across the way from you on the same deck.

We are expecting ANOTHER snow storm starting at midnight through tomorrow afternoon. I have a feeling there will be no school tomorrow anf that means we take away a snow day on the school calendar. The first one to go ids the Thursday before Memorial Day. Oh well!!!!!

Harmony(our dog) is finally feeling better today. DS has a sinus infection and is on a nebilizer for his Asthma. The change of weather is a problem for him. One day it is 60 and the next 33.

Sorry to say Gail, but we are on opposite sides of the ship. I think someone on this thread is in 5522, but I can't remember who. It has been so long sonce I have seen that number posted on the thread.

I hope we don't get more snow here. Either I or my parents have to go to the beach in the morning. Getting a new A/C put in at 8:00 in the morning. If I am going I will probably go tonight. Yeah, I can be all by myself for the night . I guess I shouldn't sound too happy about that.

Gail, glad to hear about Harmony....sorry about DS and the weather!
Jordan is still home sick, she'll go back to school tomorrow.
But they only had half days today and tomorrow...she should just stay home another day. It was teacher conference time.
We don't have snow days, but we've had "flood days". When they built the streets here, they didn't consider that it rains here!!

Friend #2 just called me. She didn't like the idea of me asking someone to take Friend #1's place. She "gently" suggested that it just be the two of us. "Anyone else wouldn't be any fun". AAaarrrrggghhh!!!!! What should I do?

So we have a Deck 5 aft group, too. Best location on the ship, IMHO. It's nice and quiet, and convenient to everything. Gail, you can come hang out on our veranda, if you can make it through all the scuba stuff in the cabin.

Stacey, I'm sure you'll have fun shopping(!) in Vegas(!) no matter how it winds up. It does sound a bit like mid-school though. Speaking of which, your daughter gets teacher conferences? We don't get them anymore unless is for something specific. That stopped with 5th grade. Diana

Wow, this should be 3874. You have been busy. Had trouble getting back in for a little while.

We have snow days, however, I prefer they are never used, and that gives us a longer spring break (when we do Maui). Since all the big snow came over Christmas break, we've got an extra two days so Jamie doesn't have to take anymore time away from school. But I think next year in Junior High that changes. Maybe I'll just have to start going without her.

Tonight we are going to Disney on Ice, (the princess one). We get four free tickets to all the local stuff Disney does all year since Jamie is Utah's Disney Radio Kid Caster. (Saves us a little more $$$ for the cruise). Then on Saturday she has to host some movie premiere for the radio station (called? The Prince and ????, I think)

Anyway, it is beautiful out. Almost as warm here as it is in Two Palms!

I had a teacher conference with Jared's (5th grade) teacher. The middle school has a thing that they call "Student Led Parent Conference". It's a joke. They have the 2 afternoons where you can go to the school with your child and they take you from room to room, and sort of show you what they've been doing. We went to the first one, the first year, but DD doesn't talk much at all, unless she saw her friends and then they all bunched together, so it was a waste of time.
We have a plane ticket and a show ticket that I hate to have go to waste this weekend. And a two bedroom suite that we could fit 20 people in. It just bugs me that it's my trip (and for my birthday) and she's being stinky. But I don't want to make trouble, either. I'm not very confrontational, I just stew on it.
Oh well. I had some fun today. I set my cell phone to play "Happy Birthday" and my friend's fiance has called me from his trip to California 3 times just so that I could hear it play. He's so funny.
Well, have to go make a phone call...take Jordan to dance, visit Jay's dad (it's his birthday too)...then out for birthday dinner.

I will definitely come back later to see if we are near to 3900.
