Hi All,

Just a quick hello from Vegas. The girls and I got here last Saturday and it has been really busy. We are going through some serious medical problems with my Mom so it is a good thing we are here. I really can't wait for the girls meet next week. We are really looking forward to meeting Stacey & Diana and their DD's.


Who will be cruising with you in December?
It will be me(41), DH(Rich, 42), DD(Brittany, 15), and DD(Alyssa, 8)

What are you looking forward to the most?
Meeting all the great people we have found on the DIS boards and being on the Magic for 10 days.

Where do you live (city, state, country)?
We live in Cedar Falls, Iowa, a nice little town in north-central Iowa. Our housing developement this year is surrounded by corn, next year it will be soybean. It's like we live in the country.

When did you book this cruise?
We booked this cruise in June 03, I believe the first day it was available.

Why did you pick this cruise?
Christmas and 10 days on the Magic.

What are you looking forward to the most?
Ditto what Leilani said. 10 days on the ship! The balcony, the service, the teen program, the parties, all you guys!

Where do you live (city, state, country)?
Albuquerque NM. Planning to relocate to FL in about five years.

When did you book this cruise?
We're first day bookers too. We were planning to go on a Western cruise in the fall, then heard about this one.

Why did you pick this cruise?
Christmas and 10 days on the Magic (same as everyone else!).

Nah, I had no more material for answering the specific questions so I tried little stories...and then my computer kept getting jammed up, crashed twice and actually didn't recover fully until #7002. I just kept trying to finish my little stories and finally decided to just leave it alone.....and I got the prize anyway...whaddya know...

When I built my house out here in the wilds of Central Texas I became acquainted with the ravages of chigger bites and, after years of avoiding sitting on rocks, stumps, and boulders, I found the perfect treatment for nasty insect/etc. bites...a product called After Bite...and when the nurse on Castaway Cay was treating my scrapes I noticed that she had a tube of it on her tray....Soooo, if prevention doesn't work, After Bite'll kick the itch and sting in a hurry....

Where do I begin - Christmas on the Magic, our vow renewal, being out on the ocean, reading on the veranda, mohitos by the pool, ......

Where do you live?
We live in Royal Palm Beach, FL (suburb of West Palm Beach), we've lived in FL for 22 years, DH and I both grew up in PA near Philadelphia,

When did you book this cruise?
Well, if it had been up to me we would have booked it on our cruise last July.(Would have made sense, right?) However, it took me until end of August to convince DH.

Why did you pick this cruise?
Couldn't think of a better way to celebrate Christmas. Because of personal reasons, the holidays are extremely difficult for me to deal with. I am finally looking forward to Christmas, once again!!!!

If I forgot any of the questions - please don't hesitate to let me know. Afterall, I'm a teacher and it's summertime!
